Also ask yourself what you were doing as you got hit any time you get hit. I think you quickly pick up on the fact that taking damage early on can you screw you over much later in the run. I did, at least, when I started playing.
It's okay to take your time for a room when you need to in order to avoid damage.
Even if you take your time and end up dying, maybe you'll figure out a strategy that way to beat those guys without getting hit next time.
Because you took your time to really learn their moves and stuff instead of just rushing in.

Echoing everyone else, generally good life advice I've received is that if a problem seems large and overwhelming, take one element you don't understand or struggle with and focus on that. Usually best to start from the beginning. So for example:
"I can't seem to beat the Fury boss, what am I doing wrong?"
Questions I would ask would be:
What's your favorite weapon? You should use that one till you beat all the bosses.
How many Death Defiance do you have when you get to them? Try and have all of them when you get there and if you don't determine which enemy or level is giving you the hardest time.
Are you taking advantage of back stab damage? If not, start practicing getting behind enemies safetly.
Stuff like that.
Also, the first step towards solving any problem is conceptualizing the problem itself. So if you're struggling, write or say what the problem even if it feels silly. Sometimes it causes your brain to start thinking of a solution, but even if that doesn't happen, you have a place to start.

I think Aphro fits in well, it's just that her ability on enemies is much more passive. So Zeus is a lightning bolt or Ares is the doom damage, but you don't notice the effects of weak because your goal is to not get hit. So when you're not getting hit, you're not seeing Aphro in action.
Maybe this was already added, but I feel like if Zag got hit by an enemy with weak and responded "You call that a hit?" then it would be more noticeable.

I'd suggest turning Extreme Measures to 1 to start. The rest is basically personal. Like what might sounds hard but doable to you. For me I turn on Extreme Measures, increased trap damage, and the thing where all enemies need to be hit once by anything before damage starts affecting their armor/health.

No, you get the next lowest uncompleted. So if you do 10 heat once, your 1 heat will complete. Do 10 heat again, heat 2 will complete

Duo just means it requires boons from two gods. It's technically the same as legendary in rarity as it needs two (or more) boons as prerequisites
That one is nice and simple at least, although not being able to be stunned sometimes means you don't quite realize how much damage you're taking so be careful there

It's five seperate tunnels, with small encounters first and then a big one at the end. Two of the paths have a skull below, those end in miniboss encounters with bigger rewards (higher boon rarity, double money / pom / health rewards).
It's a bit selective in what works and what doesn't.

Athena's dash that reflect attack is always good no matter the build
for the spear you could get Zeus buffs and spam special and normal attack to hit multiple enemies/hit the back

At some point i thought i'll never get past the elysium boss, now i reach the top almost every time, but can't beat it yet, need to find that "oh i can do this now" feeling once again.
I don't want to resort to god mode, but would take some assist options like game speed or additional attack indicators.
Redacted is actually not the most hectic boss, i'm really starting to grasp the pattern in the ||2nd phase||. It just requires to be much more careful when moving around, while trying to learn the attacks at the same time. All in all, feeling optimistic.

i've beat the third boss a number of times and the fight still doesnt feel comfortable even now i turned god mode on the games getting annoying because i played for so long on normal cause I saw myself slowly progressing everything is essentially stalled behind the first run completeion and all i can do is just grind out the god mode buff till it gets high enough to nudge me over. it's kinda dull right now

I actually wonder if your problem is similar to b1ackjack's - if you're ||consistently reaching Hades|| then you won't be able to have conversations with ||him because he'll be upstairs all the time unless you beat him||.
I mean, @versed turtle you could also just ||die in the Styx or to Theseus & Asterius||. I think he's ||always upstairs if you've gotten to his boss fight, but lost||.

Whats the deal with Call boons? It seems after they were introduced, I rarely get them until RIGHT before the 3rd boss fight, where its too late to really synergize or get the one i want.
