Most roguelites function this way by design. You'll feel like the objective of the game is insurmountable, but as times goes on, you unlock perma upgrades and just get better, you'll eventually have "the" run where everything comes together and you beat the game

First and Fourth boss give Blood. You can get more after you beat the game by ||raising the difficulty||, buying it from Charon by Cerberus, or trading (2 diamonds for 1 ambrosia, 1 ambrosia for 1 blood)

@potent merlin If you beat the first and last bosses, you'll get blood to get upgrades. Just keep winning with different weapons and Skelly will let you know when you can get new aspects.
