there's plenty of enemies and bosses where having very ready access to deflection is an enormous leg up

Ooohhhhhh I see I see, so teh gold lauren ones will give you more things that are specific to your current run at the cost of a reduced chance of the boons being particularly spicy, whereas with olympian favor, the boons you get are more likely to be better, but you also have more resource-rooms, that serve no real purpose during the specific run

oh, right, I'm an oaf and got level 1 in the first three aspects of the spear. I don't really like using the sweep... Maybe the extra raging rush is the best idea because it buffs me after and lets me be more mobile

the way it works is that you have four "slots" for gods, which are chosen when you pick 4 gods for the first time in a run
once you have these four gods picked, those will be the only gods that will spawn for the rest of the run
