I’ve been playing this game for a few days now. I can beat hades more by luck than anything else on some of the weapons. Is there a go-to aspect for each weapon I could focus on. Obviously I’m earlyish into the game so i am short on titans blood. Currently I have 10 saved up.

For stygius, ||I love nemesis' aspect, and I can definitely see the use in poseidon's aspect.|| Varatha is ||an EASY aspect of hades||, ||aspect of chaos|| on shield.
For coronacht, ||I like using both heras & chirons, I ended up just maxing out chirons though||
||Aspect of demeter|| on malphon because it is so so good
Exagryph is ||tricky for me now, I usually always hunt for the one where the bomb damages you, so I probably would have went with aspect of zagreus instead of eris., Both still are very good though||

The fourth aspects are very far away, and wouldn't worry about getting them yet. They are very good though, just NOT worth stocking up 50+ titan blood like I did

What specifically to spend on is my own personal opinion, don't worry about saving titan blood, you will definitely have enough for your favourite aspects for each weapon, then maxing them out later

I would recommend all spears over Hades spear, as well as all shields over chaos shield. All bows are good for new players to use, Chiron does fall off as you become a better player, but it's whatever. Both Hestia and Eris are better than Zag rail, even if you are doing funny Hazard bomb strats

But do whatever you want too, the game is about fun, not what is objectively best

i dont think that's necessary, i think you just need to unlock 5 non-zagreus aspects and the talk to achilles (pretty sure nectars doesn't matter its just dialogue rng). as for all hidden aspects after that theres a character for each weapon that will unlock the aspect but for example chaos unlocks shield but if you're doing a run with shield aspect of zeus and you speak to zeus in the run and im 90% sure he can also unlock it since you're using his aspect

When you're in windowed, and the resolution you set is smaller than your screens resolution, the skeletons go away. The skeletons are more intended for widescreen fullscreen, cause I get the impression Hades is meant to be played in 4:3 and doesn't like widescreen because it might be seen as an unfair advantage in competitive speed runs or something.

The skeletons would be back if you set a larger resolution that is a widescreen resolution.

It's normal that the skellies are gone in certain resolutions, there is no need to bring them back. If you set it to full screen with the full native resolution of your screen they would be back, but there is no need. They serve no purpose other then to present some pretty artwork instead of black bars.

yeah death defiances are good, but they get expensive. you might have to upgrade your mirror

to unlock it

just remember, Hades is balanced around you having mirror perks, so your only making it more painful by not upgrading them

its just 50 darkness and you can only get 1 extra dash with it

Like, a 2% chance for a crit can be achieved by fast weapons but the base damage of fast attacks is pretty low. So the crit won't do much damage, right?

And specials do big damage with crits but cannot proc 2-3% chance

This is the only game like this I've ever played. What's the best way to get past the first "boss fight" I encounter? Not sure if it's ok to say the character name here.
I don't want to use God mode and id prefer to use the spear or bow.

For now just focus on learning her move set, I personally think the second boss is easier than Meg but you’ll get there when you get there. Just keep at it and you’ll improve! There’s probably some videos on tips on how to beat her on YouTube too

If you really wanted to build around them it wouldn’t be half bad, you’d just need to do it super hard like the lvl 50 divine dash run

but it would be inconsistent and take a lot to set up

and honestly just wouldn’t perform especially well

Your best shot would just be pairing it with hunter’s mark so you can get that 2% crit once to set it up, and then follow the mark

I don't know if it's any good, but in games like Hades you must really think of what action you should do, depending on what the boss does. Meg doesn't have many attacks, so just try to observe what she does before every attack, and then learn how to dodge it the good way... Maybe this could sound obvious, but maybe it could help 😅

Do you know that Dashes give iframes but Dash-Strikes don't? Do you know that most weapons rely heavily on Dash-Strikes for good DPS?
