heat bounties work like this:
killing a boss gives a one time bounty. if you kill them again, youll get darkness instead. you can "restock" these bounties by upping the heat levels, where youll then get the bounty for the next heat level, up to 20(then its always darkness).

so if i kill meg at 0 heat, ill get blood. then each time after that on heat 0 ill get darkness
if i up the heat, itll give me the blood bounty for heat 1, even if i set the heat guage to 60

Keep yourself between a pillar to dodge spear throws (if on the open wait for the target to get really bright and dash)
Once Theseus starts the phase change is free chance for dmg cuz he can't hold the shield

And for hitting theough the shield
Wait for spear throw and hit him on retreat or stand next to him to bait the spin attack, dash through it and hit him, you should be at enough distance for another spin attack and repeat

Also dashes arw fully invincible vut the iframes are removed if you do any other action (most commonly dash strikes)

Oh yeah for the rush attack from asterius just stand next to a pillar and dash through him at last second

It's just things like the sword and gun that I struggle the most with, idk how you're supposed to use them

With the sword you can try Poseidon aspect and focus on your cast, that'll make it quite a bit better. Otherwise you'll have to get used to dash striking, the dps rotation of the sword is usually Special -> Dash Strike x2, no standing strikes at all.

For the rail it's pretty enjoyable with a dps dash like Tidal dash. And a good skill to learn is to cancel your reload animations with the dash/special/cast

Almost always yes. It's a room skip and if what you get is bad you can always take one with a manageable curse. Lots of weapons scale very well with Chaos

the problem is that you'd generally have to focus more resources into that, but if your strategy is "random bs go" then it could work

A few boons that are pretty much always good are splash dash and divine dash

Fast but weak attacks (fists, rail and flurry jab spear can also be included) go for gods that add an extra effect ro your attack (zeus, Dionysus, ares)

Some boons are generally good supporting boons like Zeus Call, Dio Call, Athena Dash, etc etc you’ll learn them as you go, if you’re looking for a specific build we can go into more details about those boons
