Food is a common healing item in video games, and it's entirely possible that it can heal damage for gods like that, but is basically pointless if they're healthy. So in the House, or when you're full HP, no, but after taking damage, yes.
Also, this opens up the idea that maybe Mortals just take DoT and need to eat to restore Health as well, but Gods are just immune to Environmental DoT effect.

Like, make it an upgraded fountain room in Tartarus where you go in there and Tantalus mutters at you in a dry unintelligible voice and Zagreus is like "Oh, are you alright? Do you need a drink sir? Hey those pomegranates on that tree you're tending look absolutely delicious, could I perhaps have one?" and you get an upgraded pom with the fountain room.

I'm a bit confused on Demeter's relationship with everyone. I get that they wanted to change things from actual mythology to make things less "yikes" But like was she adopted in the lore of the game or something? She calls herself Zeus's foster sister, and Zeus says something about her doing so to distance herself. Chaos considers them all their offspring tho, granted pretty sure they are the common ancestor to all the gods so that makes sense

honestly thats about it. once you hit epilogue you start hitting the end of the main meat of the game. What happens now is up to what you want to do. forge bonds, prophecies, max all weapon aspects or whatever(do heat since its very cool). and yea if you take money from charon i think hermes gives you a prophecy to beat him twice in a row

Based on what little I know of greek history and based on what others have mentioned here, my current guess for when chronologically Hades is supposed to be taking place is during the Peloponnesian War.
And yes, the aspects will tell you in their wording for their descriptions whether their fated wielder is in the past of Zag or in the future. Also Hades will give time context to some of them based on his quips, although he seems intentionally vague with Zagreus on those points.
(Like Gilgamesh already happened but he doesn't tell Zagreus how much he knows.)
(Or Lucifer already happened and he basically tries to stop Zagreus from asking him too much about it, probably so Supergiant can keep details of other religions vague.)
