So you already did the Ares sidequest where you killed over 10k? And did you do the Poseidon sidequest where you have to catch 25 fish, including one rare one? If what you're trying to do is unlock their seventh heart, with Poseidon you have to make sure you've caught a fish in your run before you talk to him.

I don't know what the condition is for Ares, his seventh heart unlocked automatically for me. I know for Poseidon you should avoid talking to him in your run until you've caught a fish, and hopefully when you do he'll talk about it and his seventh heart will unlock. As always, it may take a few tries.

its typically just a symptom of how the dialogue is handled
the game does not necessarily "react" to what you do, more that it checks that you've met x requirement for dialogue and then shuffles that into a pool of available dialogue that has a chance to come up when you speak with someone
thats why the usual solution to anything is just to continue doing runs and going through dialogue

I actually did some research on this and I think Antos is an ant because the Myrmidions (soldiers of Achilles) were sometimes called ant-men due to being descended from Zeus when he seduced someone in the form of an ant. Myrmidions are also kind of like general soldiers like worker ants.

I think the not Zag aspect thing is a mistake because ||I definitely used Zag aspect to qualify for Gilgamesh. I believe it is a mistaken qualifier for getting the initial Guan Yu because it is similar to one of Guan Yu's qualifiers: unlock the first level on 5 non Zag aspects for any weapon (because Zag aspects are already unlocked to the first level by default.)||

For each of the gods you have to do something specific to unlock their heart. Keep doing runs. Keep talking to people. I know Hypnos' story in particular is pretty long.

Achilles actually has a tiny little tidbit that warrants some investigation where it's mentioned that Zagreus has the greatest affinity for bloodstones even moreso than Hades. Also how bloodstones look like pomegranate seeds, and how pomegranates grow in the underworld, and how in one of the older myths the corpse of Zagreus was interred in the underworld (possibly under those pomegranate trees...) while Hera salvaged his heart and grew Dionysus from it but then the corpse was resurrected maybe by Hades and now we've got freaky clone bros?

Guan Yu has a fun special and the charge attack can potentially become bonkers under the right circumstances.
I had a real wild run with it using the extra wide charge attack hammer and the quick charging hammer with a full on backstabby exposure debuffy build because the hurricane serpent thing goes right through enemies and starts backstabbing them.

You just need to trigger all the conversations he has with Thanatos and Hades I think so just keep doing runs and trying to have them there at the same time.

And Nyx, and she also has several quests of her own that interweave with many others. It takes a very, very long time because there are so many weaving stories and you're not even guarenteed one advance in one story per run. And if you get one story you won't get any others. So yes. You're not doing anything wrong. It is just an extremely long quest that takes a metric ton of patience.
