Doing heat higher than your current bounty level will net you bounties for your lowest, next bounty level anyway. So, if you have all your 4 heat bounties lined up to obtain next, and you do an 8 heat run, you'll still get the bounties for 4 heat

I don't think there's anything to increase the RNG for Charon, but I know that the "borrow bag" can't show up in the shops at the end of a zone right before the boss, it has to be sometime before that.

Yes. Although it does offer the trades backwards from time to time.

Technically the value of Ambrosia and Titan Blood are the same to the broker, he just doesn't offer the backwards trade every time.

Titan Blood is the legendary fish and Ambrosia only the rare. But when doing bounties you can get 2 blood and only 1 ambrosia per full run.

Each weapon and each heat level on each weapon has a set of bounties.

If your heat is higher than the last set of bounties you got, it will still give you only your next qualifying set of bounties. So if you get 3/4 on heat level 5 then on your next run jump to heat level 8 on the same weapon, it will give you generic boss rewards for the first three bosses and then give you the 4th level 5 bounty for the fourth boss.

Each weapon has separate rewards for each heat level

Or rather, each boss has a bounty for each heat level for each weapon. Sorry if I'm making this more confusing.

If you have already killed a boss with the same weapon at the same heat level you will just get generic rewards (darkness + gems if you have that from the contractor). If you bump up the heat before killing each boss on a heat level before it, it will treat your boss rewards as if they were the earlier heat level but everything else about your heat will be normal.

#

Basically, finish all bosses on each heat level before you turn up the heat unless you just really wanna get erebus gates or ||skelly statues||

a note that the cerberus one never grants immediately upon completing it, usually you need to change rooms

the dialogue is not made to immediately respond to you completing a specific task, its just that the game sees you've met the requirement for it, so it enters that in the selection of potential dialogue that has a chance to come up the next you talk to an npc

Basically go look at your weapons and look for the chained lock icons over aspects you have access to but don't own yet. Then make that number of locks go down until Achilles will talk to you about it.

#

Once he does, go talk to your spear and you will see the lock for Guan Yu. Now all the other phrases can be acquired, you don't even technically have to own Guan Yu, just be able to see it.

I just have to say, god Hades lore and story is so good. I'm like, so enraptured with how the characters interact, like the dialogue is so good. especially love how gradual the change in attitude and how the dialogue is both written and acted as you get to know each character more closely. It's just a hint of a change each conversation, each interaction, but the emotional weight and change in each conversation while minuscule in the grand scheme of things is palpable.

so ive been trying to unlock the epilogue, i've heard that in order to do that you have to || get the true ending & clear the game at at least 8 heat. after that, at random, persephone should have an exclamation point above her head which should start me on the epilogue. after ive finished 8 heat and gotten the true ending, can i just spam quick deaths to get that exclamation point, or have i missed something?||

@native spade patroclus is a key part of Achilles's story in the iliad. Achilles refused to fight in the war so patroclus puts on achilles armor to rally the troops but he is killed. The book "song of achilles" by madeleine miller is told from patroclus perspective

The debate about the trojan war is multi layered ... There was probably some conflict near troy but nothing as epic as homer wrote. homers goal was trying to tie in all of these various gods into a key story... The big crossover of it's age (think infinity war for marvel). He succeeded.
