There are generally accepted like, time ranges for when most mythologies are intended to take place in relating to history. Generally speaking the vagaries can be as much as centuries or millennia though. Zag does kind of accurately place them more or less though.

Very minor spoilers. ||The Dialogue I'm referring to is Dionysus reacting to their little prank with Orpheus. I can't get the same Dialogue to trigger even if I got to dionysus multiple times already. As I understand, "Give Up" should would reset all the progression from that run, so that specific Dialogue with Dionysus should be queued up again right? ||

this is context-dependent advice and the reason why is that Hermes Boons tend to be very strong upgrades to your build, and since you can only normally get up to 2 Hermes boons, the 3rd one can open some powerful combinations, such as Rush Delivery (w/ Hyper Sprint and such) and the Hermes Legendaries

Bad News, Greater Recall and Rush Delivery are extremely strong boons given you have a build that supports it hence why you see people rolling on Hermes

There's one dialogue I like a lot about Thanatos, is one with || Hades, when the latter learnt Than was helping Zagreus. Confronting Hades face to face requires great courage. I liked this scene.

I feel like being rude now calling him tsundere, but it's to point out, amusingly, that Than doesn't show up often during runs. But yeah, there's enough dialogue to understand there're reason Than's attitude is like this. ||

You're good! like it said it's a long running fandom thing. my issue is that when a fandom latches onto a character they call "tsundere" they typically tend to reduce that character soley to that trait and dismiss anything about their characterization that leads that character to be like that in favour of depicting it as a funny quirky ship thing. For Achilles, I guess you have to || clear the subplot with Patrocles, but I need confirmation. To clear their subplot, you need to either free Sisyphus or reunite Orpheus with Eurydice. ||

And about your second question, || yes, companions are really useful, as they either blast into boss' lifebar, or gives a helpful hand on tough rooms with lots of ennemies. But you will need quite a lot of ambrosia. ||

There's a kind of "tip" to make his appearance proc more often ; it's still rng based, but it might help.

|| Just keep getting a bit of damages every room you enter in. Of course it's not 100% sure, but it boost the chances of spawning. If you take damages and / or stay below a certains amount of HPs, several rooms in a row, there're better chances.

It's a way to "force" the appearance of Thanatos, but the other side of blade is to not see him at all and be constantly on a dangerous line since you took regular damages.

I tried this way a little and I think it seems to have some effect. But take note that even if Than appears, there's also a chance that

• He may not go back to the House after the run (because of his important work)

• He may go back to the house but has a talk with another character. ||

Just got the ending for the game ||(not the epilogue)|| and just want to check I have everything understood correctly:

|| - Persephone was unhappy on Olympus so Zeus arranged for her to be Hades' queen||
|| - Persephone was reluctant to accept the offer but chose to go and eventually came to love Hades||
|| - Hades and Persephone have Zagreus who is still born and subsequently revived after Persephone leaves||
|| - Hades chooses let Persephone live in solitude unaware of everything to prevent her being discovered by Olympus||

Is that the right of it? Just want to make sure I have the basics down before I push to get ||the epilogue||

Side note: ||I'm so happy Hades so softened up a little bit and the reunion post In the Blood credit sequence was genuinely touching||

About the first point :

|| - I think it was more like Zeus "gave" Persephone to Hades because the latter was sent to be the god of the Underworld. Zeus did so without paying need to inform Olympus (thus Demeter). As Persephone wasn't happy on Olympus anyway, she kind of agreed. But I may be wrong since there's one side that lied, sooo I probably got confused. ||

in ancient myth the underworld was usually described as being at the edges of the ocean or below it, since in hades the earth is no longer perceived as flat as it was in myth its more of a planar thing i feel

there probably exists a door somewhere that leads into the underworld but the realm doesnt exist 1:1 with the mortal realm

The Greek myths are also not 100% consistent in their own "takes" as well. Like compare different islands and different time periods and compare them to like the Orphic cults and the original Minoan myths and you'll see that taking liberties with Greek myth is fairly normal, like most mythologies. The take within the Hades game world makes reference to a lot of the different versions of the characters and their myths and often tries to show you how those versions of the myth that we know in real life would still exist in the game world but as future misinterpretations or recounted stories.

||So I fought Extreme Measures Theseus just to get a feeling for their moveset, god dang. I didn't know he became a walking tank. Also, Asterius was more harder and scarier.||

||theseus with em3 is way easier than without. You can conpletly ignore him, just don't stand in his explosions and go out of the way when he runs through the center. That's all he does until you break his cart, so kill asterius before you touch him. The best way to kill thesius is to jist keep up with him when he rides around the arena, as long as you are next to him he should not hit you. Once you break the cart, wait until his invoncobility wears off and keepsake him. There should only be a few hits left if you use meg||

EM4 on the other hand... || just did my first attempt at it, had 3 death defiances going in and still lost with just a tiny bit of Hades health left on the last stand 😭 he brought out the assassin mini boss too which really just murdered me early on ||

there is also a minimum total amount of fish that needs to be caught but its low (under 20) so i never mention it because chances are likely you have well exceeded that amount by this point

but the important thing is just making sure to have a fish before you find poseidon
