Often, with Rama, the right move is to dash around the whole room debuffing everyone then chonking one enemy with a powershot that kills everything else

and to do that you want to further your relations

the entire issue with the hypnos affinity unlock is that than's part of it has low priority and he tends to talk about anything else. this is a common issue people have been complaining about for a while, because it makes completing hypnos take so long. thats why on the test branch they tried to adjust the subplot so the necessary lines come up more reliably

affinity doesnt have any bearing on unlocking aspects
once you receive your keepsakes from everyone, the primary purpose to gifting is narrative events
you will get the companions eventually, yes, and working up olympian affinity will be needed for the epilogue later on down the road
basically if you want the full story, you want to work on your relations with everyone. if not, you can stop after receiving companions

the dialogue system is pretty fascinating imo but its not perfect. but thats why they tweak things here and there when players are having trouble with certain events

OH also dont forget that most? i think most of the final weapon aspects require that you've seen some previous dialogue about using them (the weapon), sometimes people miss those and that causes a hangup with unlocks

the gist of it is pretty simple, ares wants to get in touch with nyx and learn more about her and the underworld. some people read it as a romantic thing. i dont due to how i personally parse the dialogue though. nyx acknowledges that the olympians generally look down on the underworld gods, and that ares himself isnt treated that well by his family, so while zag seems worried about ares's attention on her, she simply sees it as one misunderstood god reaching out to other misunderstood gods.

@modern loom Like @glad frigate said, Theseus is a very known quantity to the Olympians. Zagreus is not, including the fact that Nyx is not his mother, which is the Olympians' impression at the beginning of the game.

Like, I think Hades doesn't care if the Olympians give boons to Theseus because he doesn't actually give a damn about Theseus any more than his capacity to maybe stop prince Z. And the Olympians are able to give boons to Theseus easily because Nyx isn't shrouding him like Z and Theseus is always praying to them so they can "find" his location instantly. I get the feeling that most of the... smarter Olympians at the start assume they have trouble seeing Zag because he is the son of Nyx, as far as they know. Whereas the ones who are in the know are keeping quiet...

I don't think Theseus knows about ||Persephone|| since he's a resident of Elysium. ||To my knowledge, only certain Cthonic gods and House of Hades' workers (Thanatos, Achilles...) were in direct contact with her and know her by her name instead of just "the queen"||. But I may be wrong though, I haven't finished the story yet !

I think it's ||5 per weapon, like if you want to unlock hidden stygius you need 5 blood into stygius, on top of the 5 you already put in the spear since spear is the first hidden aspect and is needed for all others||
I mean, it's also written in that well thought out pinned message up there.

no I don't think you need to keep the keepsake equipped, just keep talking to them and their related characters and eventually you'll unlock the next heart

honestly just go to the middle market in every stage, there is no boon or anything that can increase the chance of getting the bag of obols. it never spawns in the end market and is usually found in at least one of the three markets in like every third run i'd say

poseidon requires you catch a fish and then talk to him afterwards. if you get a poseidon boon first and then catch a fish it won't count, you need to have a fish on hand by the time you talk to him. not guaranteed to come up right away but last i saw i can verify that requirement

the minimum amount of fish you need in total is low, I think it was like 18-20, but if you catch one every run that's easy to knock out. but yeah the important part is you need to already have a fish on hand before you speak with him

dunno then, war god's bloodlust is part of his unlock. he has additional dialogue after finishing it before you can give him ambrosia
if he's just giving you recycled lines you may have to try contacting supergiant or smth, unless you're on pc where you can f10 as a bug
