Oscar, you've gotta unlock certain characters unlockable hearts, each have different requirements for that. You can get companions from ||Meg, Than, Dusa, Achilles, Sisyphus, and Skelly.||

@rose gazelle from what I've seen it may be useful to have encountered flame wheels and maybe taken some damage from them before you get to the well. Also take a lot of fated whatever to reroll the well and try to go for keys room to get more rerolls

I read a steam guide that suggests starting a run with Demeter's keepsake then force a prompt with Zeus several times in the second level for reasons but I've been doing this for about 20 runs now and I'm not making any new progress. I already got the final ending as well... Help? Lol.

For future record for anyone stuck on Demeter's bond you basically have to finish EVERYTHING and THEN get the Demeter/Zeus dialogues before you can unlock the final ambrosia it seems.

||I can't fight him anymore. I beat him 2 or 3 times, but after that, in at least my last 20 or 30 runs (probably more like 50 though), I wasn't able to "borrow" money. And often I can see the cage where the bag is supposed to be, but there's no bag. Many times I chose the Charon route just to fight him but I'm just never getting the prompt. I finally looked it up and apparently there's about a 20% chance in non-pre-boss rooms so something fishy is going on. ||

@small wagon what you got is what is referred to as “Credits”, there is another mission and story event that is referred to as “Epilogue”.
In answer to @crystal willow ‘s question, yes you are able to keep playing after Epilogue, and in fact there is unique dialogue from everybody on the cast for talking to them after the event.

they are making the hypnos plot more reliable to trigger, according to the test branch. the primary issue with it is that dialogue related to unlocking his affinity is low priority and pretty much everything else takes precedence over it

i've double checked again and there really is no cosmetic requirement for hypnos affinity. it's literally down to getting the interactions with thanatos, and having both of their affinity up

there is a lot of story dialogue in the game thats gated behind having done a minimum # of runs since the last set of conversation too but usually people pass that without issue and dialogue still seems stuck so idk
