Most adaptations of Greek myth take a lot of liberties. I think the quality comes with what you do with it, how you do it, and how much you actually like the myths themselves. I don't mind Disney's Hercules (and now I have songs stuck in my head, dammit!), love SGG's Hades, and hate Lore Olympus.

Warning heavy spoilers but ||you guys know the ending where the narrator says Zagreus had enough time to get to Persephone’s garden and tidy up and water the plants before being taken back by the Styx? Thanatos must be the one taking him back because he’s dying a peaceful/gentle death so he’s letting him stay up there a little longer to see the garden before fulfilling his duty and bringing Zagreus back down to the underworld thoughts?||

There are no known plans for DLC. The devs are taking a break now the game is out properly. I can't say I blame 'em. They did a lot of really good work!

I'd love for a biome beyond those we have, be it a surface one, or an Olympic one. But that's just me wanting more Hades-related everything xDD

I mean, I'd happily take an update that added nothing but more gifting levels and conversations.

Hi! I'm trying to keep this minimally spoilery because I haven't reached the ||Epilogue|| and I don't want to know about it even though it's probably not even connected to my problem. I do not have and have never had the ||Divided by Death|| prophecy on my list. I have both parties maxed out on Nectar or at least reached their locked "hearts". He's completely unsuited to the bureaucracy or management aspects of the job

||Chaos says they cant go in person cuz they're a massive being or something, but they can see the party through the shield. They also thank Zag for inviting them. After the party they mention how they've never felt the presence of so mant gods in one place without everyone trying to kill each other.||

it's kinda implied underworld residents don't take well to the surface in general. hades may experience the same zag does bc he's implied he's tried getting out before. and thanatos has commentary about how staying on the surface affects him negatively (in a different manner, since he has to be on the surface to reap)

I think Zag's issues with the Overworld are distinct. Hades has obviously spent much more time above on account of his and his siblings initial war with the Titans. Thanatos's aversion seems to be borne partly of personal dislike. But because ||Zagreus was stillborn, was revived by Darkness herself, and his entire existence is in defiance of the Fates, he seems trapped. It may, however have something to do with his godly aspect of Blood (and Rebirth?)||

I think my fave god to receive boons from is Athena just cause it allows you to interact with your environment in interesting ways. (If you get the right boons) I might be alone in that though. Artemis and Hermes are also high up on my list.

man i just found out an even better part of how well the lore of the game fits with actual mythology. ||After you give|| Orpheus ||'Good Riddance' he sings it in a sad tone. On the surface it makes sense, the dude is bummed cus he can't see Eurydice. However in mythology...okay it's pretty much the same thing. In mythology after he lost his wife he would sing so sadly that every inanimate objects would be driven to tears.||

It won't trigger right away necessarily, as with every piece of dialogue there is a lot of RNG involved

||Several of the Chthonic gods have jobs that need for them to be on the surface. None of them suffer for it the way Zagreus does. I think Hades and Thanatos both mention feeling uncomfortable on the Overworld, but that's down to personal dislikes. Narratively/thematically, it draws a comparison between Zagreus, who is ignorant of the Overworld and Olympus but optimistic, and those who know that the grass Zag is seeing on that there other side isn't as green as he imagines. Zagreus has a home in the Underworld.||

in the fated list, how do i complete this objective? it says to employ the contracter to renovate the lounge for 4 diamonds and someone told me to just buy a bunch of stuff but its not working
