the game actually calls out to the blending together of Zagreus and Dionysus in mythology with some dialog involving ||Dionysus telling you to tell Orpheus a story. about how you (Zagreus) and Dionysus are the same god||

just talk to people until they let you gift them more, its RNG for some people in the house. same for the gods. i think you have to do some of the prophecy's to unlock it... or they just need TO SHOW UP @ THANATOS

Codex unlocks comes with time and interaction with the relevant entry. Just cuz you've met said entity doesn't mean the Codex will instantly fill up

I tend to keep it on EM3, FO1, MM, BF2, and TD1/2 for fun. I add on EM4 and/or FO2 when I want a challenge. The others are added on when I want a challenge.

Don't always win but it's good for learning the fights and its always a fun run.

@barren acorn ||talk to Persephone at every opportunity and max out your relationships with the various gods. You need 7 ambrosias given to gods or 6 + demeter at her lock. Then perseophone will give you the epilogue quest||

A lot of the hidden aspects are a little challenging to pick up. I need to try out the spear's... the thirst has not sent me there for a while.

Theseus is sort of Kurt-Angle but he's also sort of the Rock in that he is the People's Champion. Except for my Good Shade.

I have finished HADES 3 times by now!

Did 2 consecutive victorious runs today! Feels good

Also with every time I get the ending I tear up even more

I am going to start sobbing if I reach the end enough

I had a super intense game

I turned on ||extreme measures 3|| for the first time, not knowing what to expect, and ||I picked a chaos boon that made my attack hurt me (Beowulf aspect, so my main damage dealer), so I had to figure out the new boss fight on the fly and only use my special during it||

I made it with 26 health and no death defies used!

My past victorious runs I kinda leaned on Death Defiance, although I still made a big effort to not get hit obviously

With of course a bunch of other supporting boons that I do not remember

It was a good run

Last victorious run was with the Regular Spear with good Athena attack and absolutely INSANE Ares special

I got the special 7 hit thing and the boon that delays Doom to do more damage

The Ares special and the Doom Increase were both Heroic rank

Because I chose a VERY special Demeter Boon to make it that way

So thank you Demeter!

Though I think I have gotten very good at making do with what Boons I get and pushing them to their fullest potential

Though Hades takes some liberties in adapting the story of Persephone and mashing it up with one version of Zagreus... the characters are pretty on point modernizations of the originals (in the recorded works that exist)

A lot more liberty is taken with the Cthonic deities as they just aren't that developed as characters in the source material

technically speaking, it's fastest to farm darkness by doing runs on heats you've already done, so the game bosses drop it instead of the real rewards.

Playing butterfly is fun and helps git gudder

But I can't consistently do much with it with aspects other than GY or maybe Chiron or Hera
