I've been looking at guides for Hades at Steam, and it is claimed that ||the ending is unlocked after 10 successful escape attempts||. This seems like the same experience I had, and it looked natural to me, but I have completed the majority of quests during EA by this time and have heard most of dialogues between all characters, including those regarding ||Zagreus' attempts to escape and his reasons of escape, Persephone missing from the House and speculation on where is she, why she left etc||. Now my friend started playing the game on my recommendation, and in a couple of evenings ||they've beat Hades 5 times already||, while only today getting the last available (at the time) keepsake, so if it's ||only 5 successful attempts for them left while relationships with other characters are only in the "starting position" so to say||, wouldn't they miss an enormous amount of dialogues? Or are there measures inside the game to prevent new players from reaching the ending prematurely? Or maybe I'm misremembering the amount of dialogue applicable to pre-ending conditions and most of it will sound natural in ||post-ending but pre-epilogue conditions||?

I think as long as you understand the basic conflict, which is revealed in pre and post final boss dialogue you'd understand what is happening and why, but ||to get the final final ending|| there are a lot more milestones that need to be reached properly

I'm just a bit worried about some story elements and opinions of specific characters on the situation (I remember ||Thanatos being highly critical in the beginning, and then his gradual increase in understanding of Zagreus' motives, and Thanatos himself does not appear right at the start of the game, which sets back these dialogues||). It may sound weird, but there is some though stuck at the back of my head "What if they miss something? What if SG recorded the lines some people will never hear because they are too good?"
It's not that it is critical. More of my own (sometime troublesome) feeling that everything should be experienced in the most complete form. :)

What I have also noticed about this thing of maybe missing dialouge while getting to the ending ||I started a new save when it came out on Switch, and got to the ending way before unlocking and doing a lot of things. The new character comments on things though just like any other member of the house. I remember, for example, getting new lines about -someone- being fired coming from the new character, or about Nyx and Chaos. My experience is that yeah, some of the tone, like Hades being mean is missing, but there's also new content for getting that far so quick.||

IIRC, for ||Sisyphus, for example, you need to have conversations come up with Hades, Nyx, and I think ?maybe also Meg? about how his punishment works and how to find the contract in question - at which point you'll be able to go add it as an item to pay for in the House contractor||
Oh, you also need to have ||bought back access to the Adminstration room||

Okay guys I just had some dialogue with Zeus and my all brain cells are focused on some theory and I have to share it. ||So Zeus basically said "Hey Zag, you are my fav guy. Actually you seems very similar to me. Maybe I'm your father huh". Sooooo in Greek mythology Zagreus is son of Zeus and Persephony, not Hades. So my theory is that Zeus gave Hades Persephone as a gift like it was said. But they had romance and since we know how Zeus is effective with making babies she was pregnant (that''s why she wanted to leave the Olympus). So Hades and Persephone lived beneath the surface and when she got in the labor Fades decided that having Zeus son in the hell is bad idea and he was born stillborn. But Nyx and Persephone deliver friendship and Nyx couldn't see how sad Persephone and Hades were that their son was born dead so she went to her daughters and asked if she can do something about it. Fates told her the story and allowed her to bring Zag to life. But she had to change colour of his eyes so noone will ever know the truth.|| I allow my self to tag @fair light to ask him if I'm a bit correct or it's just my filled with love to this game brain are making conspiracy theories and I should probably put away my pad and go to sleep

That being said, mythology is filled with contradictions and survives because it's told and retold in a variety of ways. The story of Hades attempts to acknowledge how some of these contradictory ideas can all still coexist.

Can someone explain something to me about Theseus please?
So, Theseus, every time we meet and fight him, is kinda a major jerk. But the part I don't get is that that does not mesh with him going out of the way to find Asterius, redeem and team up with him. Like even when you see them falling out a bit on occasion it's clear they are good friends, and that Asterious is thankful to him and thinks there's good in the idiot.
My point is... I don't see the connection between jerk theseus stopping us and not even CONSIDERING we might be decent and the guy who went out his way to save the monster that killed him

I guess my main issue with Theseus is he's just kinda... static. Everyone else changes a bit over time aside from Cerberus (who is good doggo), and the Bone Hydra (Who has no characterization)

I've had sisyphus' heart locked and all other convos but still waiting on nyx. Yet a single run after I unlock my 5th aspect, achilles tells me about guan yu. Rng be rng sometimes.
