You're given the option to let her keep the ambrosia or take it back. the implication in taking it back is that dusa feels uncomfortable in having everything handed to her, since zag offered all the ambrosia on the basis of helping to stock the lounge, which is her job. you can also just let her keep it and it won't affect anything either way you choose, but I took it back so I couldn't say off the top of my head how she reacts to that

it's a lot of ambrosia so most people choose to take it back, but point being you do have a legitimate reason for taking it back so don't feel bad about either choice
comforting/backing off on meg and than don't matter, no, but there's still an obvious difference in the amount of content you get between the choices. outside of personal character interest it's really not worth backing off because you get really no content for it in comparison

No I'm strictly talking about meg and than there, not dusa. I'm just still disappointed backing off on them just gives you a "oh okay see you" kind of dialogue and that's basically as far as it goes, no further development on the platonic front as the romantic front

for example, if you chose to have her keep the booze, she'll throw a farewell party for you and mention that the drinks are sponsored by Zag; alternatively, if you took ambrosia back, there'll be some nectars and stuff from Eurydice.
in the same vein, some sex replacing interactions could be added for Meg and Than if you chose to stay friends with em, like playing the board game with Than, or practicing with Meg in the courtyard

Its not needed. You can refund all the darkness on the mirror and a lot of people do that to complete the nyx quests that requires 8888 darkness, but its optional

And depends on how much darkness you have in total
I just didn't feel like doing runs to grind out darkness
If your total amount of darkness is basically about as much as the quest requires, then obviously don't give up your darkness for the quest, that's stupid
But of you have enough total darkness to respec the mirror, collect the most important parts of it and have enough to put into the quest, that's up to you whether to do that or not.
That was the situation I had, I reset the mirror, added darkness back to whatever aspects to it I prioritized, and just kept enough on hand for the quest

I think Hades's spin can be easier to deal with on FO2. He moves forward faster, so dashing through him is easier, and the hitbox is active for a shorter time, so it's more lenient for i-frames.

I personally think Hera and Hestia will stay that way (being mentioned about only, but never appear in game).
Wishing that Apollo will show up in game (even though I know the chance of this is next to slim).

It depends on the endgame and alternate types of game that supergiant tries to put in
Remember the stuff they put into bastion for example
He could be the one to hand out daedelus hammers or unique improvements in a wave gamemode perhaps
But likely, Hera/Apollo/Hephaestus are just unimportant to this particular story more than anything

Apollo probably likes to find out where persephone is
it is her being sent back to her mother that ends the winter and would allow apollo, the sun, to shine again
the others? not so much
i mean, hera could more or less try to act as a motherly figure in olympus... until something else went wrong

The only reason why Apollo is unrelated to the current story is because SG has doubled down on the existence of Helios (being Demeter's "brother" and all). In the myth that I was familiar with, it's Apollo who informed Demeter of Persephone's kidnapping.
Helios is the one who revealed to Demeter (in-game) that he saw Persephone entered the Underworld (willingly)

To explain why
First I must explain Orphism
Orphism was a sect of Hellenism that believed in worshipping those who had descended into the Underworld to reemerge
Coming from Orpheus and his works
It's a very clever circuituous joke about Orphism
See, Orphics revered Dionysus as having descended into the Underworld once and returned, and Persephone for descending into the underworld seasonally
Persephone being the goddess of the changing seasons, and originating myth describing her as needing to enter the underworld for six months at a time
Now as for why Dionysus asks Zagreus to say they're the same person and that they're connected
In Orphic myth, Zagreus is the son of Zeus and Persephone
Hera gets mad when he's named as Zeus' successor and instigates the Titans to murder him, which they do so by tearing him apart
Athena saves the heart of Zagreus and tells Zeus of the crime, who in kills the titans with a thunderbolt
The resulting mixed ashes - the body of the titans and the devoured body of zagreus - are where mankind in orphic myth comes from, with the divine soul of zagreus and the sinful bodies of the titans
The pieces of Zagreus which remained were carried by Apollo to be buried in his land of Delphi, which eventually lead to the reincarnation of Zagreus as Dionysus
