I've been having trouble with asterius and thessus upgrades. Asterius in particular just wrecks me hard. Anything that needs short range I have a hard time dodging the bull. His charge in particular seems really unavoidable now.

but anyway, always dash through pillars when he's charging you. and a good thing to have in mind is that his ground slam does delayed damage, it doesn't damage right when he lands, but a few instants later
for me opting to fight asterius alone got me way better at dealing with him in the main fight
and if I'm not mistaken the bronze asterius lose one of his slash attacks that has no windup, making it more easy to melt him down

I'd be imagining the "hitbox" is like a small box within the "circle" that you see. Unless you're talking about the four destructible flower pots, which I'd imagine are smaller than the two spots holding spectator shades.

Yeah, with the pillar, he, as weird as it is, will sometimes just "loop around" the pillars. And I've sometimes dash through the pillar with the hope that'd be enough to stop his charge... but then, out of nowhere, he has a weird magnet slingshot ability for certain pillars.

The way everything is adapted, I'm curious what this world's canon lore is. Since the game either suggests that Dusa is either a floating gorgon head by nature or that she was slained by mortals for a different reason, if her backstory isn't anywhere close to what's been popularized in Greek mythos and even some modern Western adaptions.
Idk much about Achilles or Patroclus to know their story in the Greek mythos or some of the newer adaptions, but I am enjoying the "they were roommates" route.
And then the most OBVIOUS thing is... despite being named Hades, the lead character is not, indeed, Hades, as I had thought initially. (I also didn't think too much about this game until a friend gifted it to me, so that I could get Pyre during the deals/Christmas stuff)
