hey, question, how do I actually trigger the newest affinity gauge levels for zeus/artemis/etc? do I have to have a specific weapon equipped?

@mighty vessel for Artemis: keep her talking about Callisto as much as you can. Eventually, she'll say something along the lines of "I can be myself around you."

For Zeus: try to continuously get the duo boon for him and Demeter. There's a specific dialogue in which he asks for Demeter's aid with something and that should unlock the heart.

For Aphrodite: if it unlocks for you, it should happen after you've romanced... one? of the three options in the Underworld. (Thanatos/Megaera/Dusa)

though, Aphrodite, as I was recently informed, is bugged and may not unlock properly.

yesterday someone brought the discussion about a possible plothole regarding hades not being mad with hipnos for making everyone sleep and thus letting zagreus know about persephone

on my latest return to the house, zagreus asked hipnos about any possibility of unlocking the door in the back for zag, to what hipnos more or less answered "you know I can't let you enter your father's private spaces anymore, since you betrayed his confidence and tried to escape home. Sorry, master's orders"

I think that this quotes settles the question? My understanding from it is that Hipnos putting everyone to sleep is not really a problem for Hades, what really matters is the intention of wrongdoing by zagreus when asked for the spell

Hey, I've got some questions regarding some of the games questlines.
Most of all for the Sysiphus companion quest. Does anyone know what other prerequisites you need to meet to buy it after Hades told you that it's lost and you're free to look for it? Only video I've seen about it was with the old shot and the guy got that conversation with Hades and bought it from the shop right after he cyclesd through some other purchases.

@velvet wyvern late since I was asleep but the incident you pointed out actually doesn't address that at all, all it is is a further confirmation of the ways hades has punished zag for his escape attempts. the game already tells you about many of these, the pact of punishment is one of these as well.

They are still super worth it though

you need to see all of arty's dialogue involving callisto for hers, and zeus is chasing a bunch of relationship stuff between him and demeter, demeter's thoughts on the surface, her daughter, ect. its the most complicated of the available olympians in kind of the worst of ways
