If we take into account, the myth of Persephone is a metaphor, and than Kore might be just another version of Persephone or a nickname (I can't remember the specific terms used for both), then Hades has only 1 wife and no affairs. Nothing sick like Zeus or Poseidon (With whom, Dusa should have a beef)

@junior field It is a big problem with some Rogue-Lite games (Dead Cells is guilty as well). They address different demographics and try to please both in a balanced way (Dead Cells quite went full hardcore with the last updates in fact). Myself, I find it is a nice touch for non competitive players because it gives some incentives to play the game for quests, stories and completion even if it is not for the challenges. The cons, it feels grindy and let's be sincere, usually you have seen what the game can offer long before a full completion.

@junior field It might happen to Hades as well. Early Access are beside a way to finance a game along the development process, an echo chamber. Dead Cells is for example presented as a kind of Metroidvania when that aspect is covered very fast in the first few runs. Of course, most players tagging with the game from the beginning (I bought it when it was the earliest build, but I am an old farty non competitive player) wanted more challenges...And at the end Dead Cell went that way. Unlockable biome and a final boss (Hand of King) being a bit too challenging for most players at higher difficulties (which is considered being 3 cells...). Even the new paid DLC is tough in fact despite not being locked being a difficulty level to access it

Because, the game is very polished in aesthetics (sounds, graphic, music) and with a lot of quests and stories, Hades is a crowd pleaser even for players just into Greek Mythos or SGG games. To hide the ending behind a difficulty wall would be alienating those players. For competitive players, there are already quite a lot of content

I am old school and all game but strangely I am fine with no romance in Hades. I was glad that Zagreus goes full Ancient Greek and can romance Thanatos and Megaera (So why not Dusa? I love how they're all like, subtle about being bound to Zag and resembling him, Exagryph with the noble gryphon, malphon with the heart designs, varatha with looking a lot like his fathers' but completely different at the same time

Update: after exhausting everything about Demeter's Daughter dialogue, Zeus mentions that he tried to cheer her up. But that's about it. Got the duo boon. No change.

Has anyone figured out the requirements for unlocking the ambrosia heart for Aphrodite? I forged the bond with Zeus and Artemis and actually unlocked it for Aphrodite during a run where my game crashed and I haven't been able to do it since.

the routes you can go down are ||than and meg, where you have a choice to either be romantic and platonic. dusa also has a route with a twist at the end, so i recommend playing through her route as i think it's really well written!||
