it's by design

Zag will comment on it too sometimes, stuff like "wonder where nyx went"

so it might not be a bug as much as in need of tuning

from what I can tell of the game, each NPC can usually only handle one thing per visit to the HoH

the little key in the bottom right doesn't appear cus I have everything maxed

they're like "oh you have everything guess you wouldn't need to respec huh"

I used to match my darkness investment with friends to make a more even playing field when playing along side each other, and now it's just... annoying. And doing no darkness runs was FUN (though I think the new pact serves the same function).

Honestly, I need to boost it up fully to accurately judge that... but an extra hammer upgrade would be a game changer.

It's worth pointing out that rerolling boons means you're having a chance of rolling something better, either of a higher rarity or something that fits your desired playstyle more.

I often find when rerolling room rewards, I end up with some other thing I don't want. Rerolling Darkness? Now it's a Gem. Reroll that? Now it's either Nector or a key. But if I'm more consistently getting higher tiered rewards and I get to have more than one chance at getting a Boon I actually need? That could be worth it.

Plus, you can increase the rarity of future boons via Charon shops, and as you can reroll those, it's possible to secure higher rarity already.

Chaos becomes more important in those runs as well, as Chaos Boons become yet another way to upgrade your abilities, and even boost future Boons.

and with how i been playing so far i found that the most ideal way to reroll

is to use it on gods

say u got zeus and poseidon

i dunno if im lucky or its maybe the zeus ring i use or something

but when i rolled 2-3 other gods like hades and demeter and such

i got ether poseidon or zeus

sometimes u dont u get something bad like the heart

i think u should just accept it

when u get the heart or pom

thats what i do at least

i stop rerolling when i hit something that isnt a god boon

and never reroll on staff like gems/key/nectar/darkness

i found out that most times u reroll those

u end up with 1 of them 4

as for rerolling the boons u just got

yea its not a bad idea to use em for reroll for example 3 normal quality if u are unlucky or something

but i found out that all u gotta do to win is follow a strategy

for example rarety rly helps but as long as u get a duo boon most times u will do well

also its very easy atm to get duo boons in my experience and if u arent 100% sure what you need for each boon u can check the wiki on google

so i rather take a bad pick once in a while

but have more zeus's or poseidons or whatever god im playing to pick from

and as far as i know u can get duo boon with just 1 boon from 1 god and 1 from the other the 3rd boon of ether god has a chance to be duo boon (3rd time u run into them i mean)

It's new. I'm also curious about the not only the Orpheus/Eurydice quest but also the Zeus/Artemis. Can't seem to start either of them, despite having gifted them as much as possible so far. I've even forced Zues/Artemis in many runs (maybe 12 total?) after the patch it to try and kickstart it

Also, @grand tiger , for the Nyx quest my fated list completed for her when ||I spent the 8,888 darkness for the portal and then met her during a run with Chaos|| Hope that helps

Well, Theseus is quite the fighter of a king. But Zagreus is also a god. Not one as high as Nyx or Hades, but a god nonetheless. His speed is believable, but if we're taking his strength literally as it is from the game, he's kind of puny in both HP and Strength compared to Theseus and Asterius.

A lot of the damage you'd deal towards Theseus and Asterius should mostly be due in part because of some assistance from the gods. I say should, as in, if you somehow manage to fight the both of them without getting some kind of boon to up at least 1 of your main keys (Attack, Special, Dash, Cast), you are a madman and you should be dead.

for example, if you beat hydra with sword, you will gain one diamond

you won't be able to gain another diamond until you beat it with higher heat, or with a different weapon

but don't worry, these things become trivial in the future

Personally the option to talk to nyx about Arthur appeared for me after I had all sword aspects unlocked

i have every weapon unlocked, all of them are at least level 1. for sword i have them 2 maxed out and the nemesis one at level 1

every character hasnt had an explanation point for a while. i usually talk to everybody after every run. a couple of new dialogues appear here and there but its just not been happening for me

i think the damage is insane with them. i recommend getting a hammer boon to either do the range+ 20damage or the +5 attack damage ones those make the damage go from good to insane. then just get any boon that increases attack damage. demeter athena and posedion(and the magnetic gloves) are good ones. if ya want more aoe go zeus

yeah cast builds are top tier builds. for a while i only played cast bow or cast sword. but now i just go ham with the twin fist the damage output is insane. all ya need is one boon to make your attack increase damamge and ya won the game

i think my favorite run with the fist was a run where i had almost 60% dodge chance

had the orginal fist(15% dodge chance) +25% dodge chance boon + the hermes item that gave me 23% so i had 63% dodge chance. if i found the hermes boon that gave me 45% dodge chance for 5 seconds after a call. that would mean i would be over 100% dodge chance for 5 seconds
