I just gave Achilles 1 nectar and the way zagreus responds to Achilles' heart "belonging to another" makes it seem like you can possibly have a romantic relationship with characters??? I've been giving these nectars out willing nilly and that might not have been such a good idea if that's the case. Will someone @ me if there are romantic routes to speak of?

Just beat the game for the first time, it was awsome, probably the most brutal final boss I have ever faced.

At one succesfull run every 14 attempts that should only be 1386 runs. With an average of 40 minutes per attempt that would be 924 hours or about 38 days. Should have it done before the end of the year.

You shouldn't underestimate the bonus from Boiling Blood and every cast is actually in a good spot, if even just to apply curses e.g. Poseidon's cast is the best way to rupture multiple enemies

Hades is abusive, but he's also clearly a victim. Exactly how isn't clear, but he's tried to get out just the same as Zagreus, failed, and is in some extremely ineffective way attempting to protect his son.
All his comments about "you're never getting out of here" are from personal experience.
And the Olympians are playing some game of their own, although I really can't tell what. (I rather hope they're not all in on it, though. I like Artemis!)

I'm very curious how it turns out, and what the next bit of non-story content is supposed to be. Doesn't feel like the game is supposed to be any longer, so fitting in a whole new biome would require reducing the existing ones. Maybe compress Styx substantially to make room? It's the least fleshed-out of the lot, so reducing wouldn't hurt.
Artemis seems genuine, but the rest of them range from blatantly untrustworthy to dubious.

Actually, right now I have no idea how to survive Forced Overtime Hades without the dash upgrade.
Took me three tries to do my first 16-heat clear with 5 Forced Overtime, because I only got the dash boon on the third try. (And only the normal version, just +1 dash!)

Dodge is nice, it can make up for screwing up, but longer dashes get you out of trouble. I just can't reliably get myself away from that giant spin attack in time with only two dashes.
And the epic dash boon (+3 dash!) makes the end fight into easy mode for me. You just zip to the other side of the room every time he gets close, and getting out of the way of the lasers / traps is dead simple.
So, yeah, Hermes dash-more is possibly my single favorite boon.

Don't know why this ran thorugh my head while fighting Hydra again. But a subtle thing I do like about this game: they didn't conflate Hades as being Death or some form of "Satan-lite." Like he's literally just the king of the underworld not an attempt to be a "demon/Devil" figure like how some media tends to make him be.
