Picked up where I left off in Styx this morning and got lucky with the enemy spawns—a lot less satyrs than I expected—so I managed to beat the final boss again no problem. Then I had the genius idea to use heat when I know I'm bad at this. "A 15% enemy health increase can't be that bad!" Regrets were immediately had. I'm now constantly misjudging hits-to-kill, getting overwhelmed by Flamewheels, and this run I'm all but limping through Elysium with 0 DDs.

use mirror for extra cast charges, extra dash, and other stuff idk. use chaos shield. i believe this is how a route would work: start chaos egg. get epic chaos boon that increases cast damage. get blade rift from ares, get pressure points from artemis idk. get the duo boon. get athena dash. (all epic rarity). beat floor boss 1. pick up sack of gold. go to floor 2. get +3 dashes from hermes, get the double cast bonus from artemis. get the duo boon from athena-artemis. beat hydra. floor 3: get broken spearpoint. get artemis legendary then get hermes super dash. then focus on poms. then speed through the rest of the run fighting as little as possible, and then nohit hades. this can probably beat 45 heat in 7 min per floor, assuming near-perfect human play and perfect luck (all epic boons and a pom at every opportunity).

if a player can make it through tartarus with only 65 hp as well as one room of asphodel, then they have 5 athena dashes which should be enough to get through the rest of the run.

exactly. trials are impossible so players get a max of 3 boons in the first floor (because shop boons are expensive). since the player is human, they need divine dash room 1-1 and epic greatest reflex room 2-1. this implies that it is literally impossible to get a duo boon until near the end of asphodel, which makes the run extremely difficult due to time constraints.

i don't know how golden pots are generated. but if it's truly random, that implies that it is possible for every pot in an entire run to give 15 gold. this could allow a 45 heat run, but is obviously a pathological case. if we restrict the pot gold to expected value, then 45 heat is probably impossible for humans. a frame-by-frame TA game run by a neural network is probably achieve though.

Rerolls don't work like you'd expect them to.

I've tested it a few times with infinite fated authorities.

Even when on the same category the room doesn't appear to be able to get all room types on that category.

For the most part rerolls appear to get 2 or 3 room types on the same category.

At times you can get a 4th type, and sometimes a type between the 2 or 3 that you can reroll appear to change and you will consistently be rolling the new type. I wasn't really able to do it consistently though, and I've only noticed this when using an unrealistically high number of Fated Authorities.

On meta currency rooms it does seem to be a little easier to get all of the different values though.

All of this means that on normal gameplay you should probably avoid using over 2 Fated Authorities on the same room.
