I would honestly take just about anything to avoid going over 100% damage in Pact. Restricting mirror and extra enemies, in my opinion, are the most efficient ways to pump the heat up.

Basically, Ares on attack starts at 40 and can go up to 2.5, Zeus started at 15 and could go up to 2.5, and athena starts at 40% and could go up to 2.5
In the time one Ares proc went off, a fast weapon has usually attacked anywhere between 3-6 times
Athena has the benefit of working with multiplicative attack boosts

Favorite Sword Build: Flurry of Blades + Zeus Attack... been nerfed into the ground, but still probably fun for a no-heat run; Poseidon Boon on Special, because stacking Knockback effects is awesome, Cast - Aphrodite - to make up for the fact that the sword is the only weapon that has no long ranged attacks. Dash - Titan Toppler because it's my jam.

I've had it decently often enough, if you fill out your boon slots and see Zeus 3 times, which isn't incredibly unlikely due to the nature of the dual god encounters, you'll be able to get it guaranteed as opposed to having a chance at getting it

Imho my biggest problem with Aphrodite is her main buffs are all passive and focused on just making enemies hit you for less damage, and while that’s helpful, it’s not exactly “fun” the way stuff like Poseidon’s knocking everything everywhere or Zeus skewering mobs with lightning. Then we’ve got Athena who has defensive stuff too but has really active, fun ways to be defensive
