Just make sure you're not loading all your casts all the time

On every enemy

Just enough to kill them

That way you're not always waiting to pick up your casts, it doesnt take long but a few seconds each time can stack up a lot

Give it a few attempts, it shouldnt be too bad managing your casts

I don't really know how you can say Zag Bow is mobile when you need to stand still to charge and that Hestia is not when do all your damage in one single very quick shot before you can move freely again.

Most mobile aspect in the game, that's why it can keep up even with Beowulf at high heat.

Compiled Beo advice from many sources, primarily Astaos and Martell-L:

If you're on controller, bind cast to a shoulder button, or basically any button you can repeatedly press while still holding down a direction and attack.
take Infernal Soul (+2 casts).

Dash-attack an enemy and charge your rush. Cast twice while rushing (if that's too big brain you can cast while repositioning). Your casts will load into the shield, and launch at the end of your rush, so don't over-charge it. In fact, the shorter you charge the better, since damage is same regardless (given that you hit enemies ofc).

After your casts launch, dash-attack again with your remaining cast. Don't go too far from where your previous two casts are landing, so that you can pick them up. Rinse and repeat from the previous paragraph

ask Chaos nicely for an additional cast(s), and Demeter for Snow Burst. If you get +1 cast, your rhythm can now be 2+2 instead of 2+1.

Trippy Flare should have better burst damage against bosses when the build comes together, and naturally it benefits more from Mirage Shot because you have greater base damage.

Flood Flare benefits from having a decent chance to get Mirage Shot before Asphodel already even and requiring fewer pieces, which lets you get away with just stacking big damage from Chaos boons etc.

You're probably still far from optimizing either build consistently anyway.

But if you're having more fun with one build, there's no requirement to do the other. The difference only really matters if you're like trying to set speedrun WRs or something.

If you wanted to do high heat, you can go up to 50+ with Trippy Flare just fine. Passion Flare would be more reliable for high heat from what we've seen, but even Trippy Flare Beowulf is still a better aspect than almost every other at high heats.

And if you're trying neither to set speedrun WRs nor to get into high heat, even less reason to be too concerned with whatever is meta.

It's good to learn the meta just to know what's possible, but don't let it dictate what you play. Pick whatever you find works best for you.

It's good. Divine Dash doesn't help you as much vs Hades tbh but it's great for everything else.

Still helps against him, just the big spin can't be deflected anyway. Same for shockwaves in the fight. And the attacks that can be deflected, you still need to actually i-frame or otherwise evade.

But it will probably help you get there more consistently with all your DDs still there.

And you'll need less money for healing during the run, so you can spend on things that make you stronger or more durable.

ddash plus flourish makes it pretty hard to get jabbed or eat a skull while spamming dashing strikes and specials

Just where it shines most is dealing with projectile hell rooms and negating any lingering hitboxes, which Hades doesn't really have.

I'd think Tidal Dash would probably help more in the fight just because he dies faster.

If you get Zeus you can go for Sea Storm

Why hasn't the "renovate lounge" prophecy completed yet?? I got the deep cleaning and detailing and fish tank before the prophecy was written, then the welcome rug, a long rug, a seating item, treat jar, ambrosial delight, cured meats, snake tables, expanded kitchenette, spice rack, knives, oven, fire pit, bat cage, I don't know why the prophecy isn't working. Does it only proc when you talk to dusa? She hasn't been available the last few runs, and when she was available, with an exclamation mark, I screwed it up by assuming talking would make her run away so I gave her nectar first and the nectar made her run away

and for that you need to buy five aspects

of weapons

then Achilles will reveal the hidden varatha aspect

then just wait until nyx reveals the arthur aspect

yes, make sure to buy all sword aspects too

because I'm sure you need those

you have to unlock 5 aspects that aren’t zagreus across all weapons to get the hidden aspect for the spear, and then when you have it invest 5 blood anywhere in the sword to get the hidden aspect for the sword
