the music at the start of a biome is usually more mellow than what you'll hear by the end of it

If you get a boon from a God, the God is added to your God Pool. If your God Pool has less than 4 Gods in it, when the game decides to give you a boon, it will pick a random God. If your God Pool has 4 or more Gods, the game will only give you boons from those Gods (unless you have a keepsake from a god that's not in your pool)

Basically, if you want the most chances to get a God's boons, you want to get 4 Gods as fast as possible, so that every time you get a boon, there's a 1/4 chance it's from the God you want

Always helps because it wants to move into firing distance. Also, positioning yourself between the magma and the Megagorgon will keep it over land.

I don't think you should use MM for speedrunning, unless you mean EM2 then the Power Couple should not be a problem. Just group them together, even if it means taking some damage and Meg them.
In speedrunning, health is a resource. Use it.
