I don't use the spin. I use the spacing and dash strikes, mixed with special pull for bonus damage (Achilles)

Only about 50+ rounds in, I'd throw fists/shield/spear as the ones I've enjoyed the most.

the way that duos and legendaries work is, the game calculates if you have prereqs, then checks your chances of getting a duo, then sees how many duos you can get based on your prereqs, then offers one or two of them
