Like, I went 17 runs, and I never got to the boss of Elysium. I thought Bull man was the boss because I never got past him. One run just went crazy and I beat the entire game. After that I've been on a winning streak and still haven't lost while still gradually cranking up the heat

Something that really helped me make spin attack spear work (Hades aspect) was that figuring out you can dash after charging up and it does a ||Hades-esque|| dash spin attack. So you can charge it up from much further and get a lot of range on that thing

Maybe a bit off-topic but I really like how they portrayed Ares in this game. Like, he's usually portrayed as this hulking meat head but he's not god of strength and brawn, he's god of warfare and stratagem. So it makes sense when you meet him he's like this chill, smart guy who just likes killing things a tad too much.

@fallow kayak yes, it means you formed a bond, because you gave charon an Ambrosia. You can get one with all the other characters that give keepsakes too. I don't think it does anything mechanically but could be wrong.

It's also wild that the gameplay is so good, but the story is also interesting. Normally one always takes the back seat to the other. I wouldn't doubt Supergiant though with striking that balance. They have successfully done it multiple other times.

@fresh musk you wont ever be punished in any way for advancing affinity for any character. The dotted hearts just means theres more, yeah. Once you hit a 
it means that's as far as you can go with that character until you do some sort of quest for them to unlock it.
@brisk trail card drops are random. theres a set # of cards that will auto drop based on your amount of hours played
