@zealous timber I didn't do a full run with the bow but the narrower angles for the auto lock do de facto feel like a nerf as it doesn't snap between targets as quickly. Also, I don't like the idea of nerfing the special attack speed while the damage output of other gods besides Zeus on it wasn't that crazy high instead of doing something about him in particular so he's not effectively a strictly best choice for it by a huge margin.

Hey I need someone to check something for me if you can.
I think there might be a bug where investing blood in Zagreus aspects does not count for the purpose of unlocking the fourth aspect of weapons.
I tried it out with giving blood to Zagreus rail, Zagreus Sword, and Eris rail.
Out of the four times Iāve tried it with rail, investing blood into Zagreus rail did not trigger when talking to Zeus.
Investing in Eris did so immediately however.
Nyx didnāt have the unlock phrase for the fourth sword aspect either but that might just be dialogue RNG

The pins say that any aspect counts. If the above bug is true, that means if a player maxed out their non-Zagreus aspects it would lock them out of the fourth aspect permanently. Iām assuming thereās a specific switch if you have all the aspects maxed before you get the fourth spear aspect

I think I didnāt communicate my intent clearly enough. The pins say that spending 5 Titan blood (whether through unlock or strengthening aspects) should allow you to get the fourth aspect once you get the spearās one.

So I think it's supposed to happen the very next time you see the god once you meet the requirements.

I forced the conversation with Zeus and Artemis and got the phrases immediately. Didnāt get Shield aspect though but that might be because I didnāt spend any blood on the shield after I got the fourth spear aspect.

Honestly? I think it's good to get even though it's in Early Access. I mean, this is the only EA title I've played, but plot and character wise I am more than happy and it integrates the Early Access side of it in quite an interesting lore relevant way. Unless it is just purely waiting for console release, which I understand; Would love the game on the Switch and will double dip if it comes out for it.

I like Olympian Favor, but I can see Dark Foreshight being better for late-game players who've finished collecting gems/darkness.
It depends on your build/playstyle whether Pride or Legacy are better. I like Legacy more because I'm still trying to finish the Olympian Prophecies and I regularly edit the Hades wiki. But if your build doesn't care about Legendaries/Duos, it's better to have Epic boons show up more often.
I've seen a lot of people enjoy Fated Authority, but for high heat players that use Pact Conditions like Approval Process, Persuasion has more use.

It's a very minor thing, but is anyone else a little disappointed in the last update's change to fishing rewards from ||Chaos||? The chef now rewards ||varying levels of darkness (100 / 250 / 500)|| instead of the original ||Diamond / Titan's Blood / Ambrosia||? I understand that they also changed the way fishing spots spawn there that could increase their frequency, but since there is no "sink" for the new rewards I have no use for it. It just feels really boring and meh coming across something that is supposed to be rare and exciting.

Only damage indicators for Hydra attacks are the Lava Spittles to my knowledge, though the Head Slam radius is something you learn from experience.

@thorny arrow Yeah, there are two indicators. One for a persistent lava puddle and one for the falling rocks. I'm not sure I've noticed the difference between them; I'm sure it exists but I simply avoid both.
As for advice, keep moving. I had the same problems when I first started that fight. I would get stuck on the pillars. Stay calm, don't panic, and just fight in a circle.

It's a very minor thing, but is anyone else a little disappointed in the last update's change to fishing rewards from Chaos? The chef now rewards varying levels of darkness (100 / 250 / 500) instead of the original Diamond / Titan's Blood / Ambrosia? I understand that they also changed the way fishing spots spawn there that could increase their frequency, but since there is no "sink" for the new rewards I have no use for it. It just feels really boring and meh coming across something that is supposed to be rare and exciting.
Considering I still have tons of levels of Fated Authority/Persuasion to buy I'm actually a fan of this change.

I'm no expert but before I consistently left routine inspection on, I was using dark foresight and God's pride. I think dark foresight is better than olympian favor to have more boons (I'm running underworld customs too).
And since I did that, inopted for the +chance to epic just cause it seemed more viable than praying for legendary and duo.

Personally, no. But that's what works for me. I know some other people, like Nyaa, focus almost exclusively on one weapon and get really good at it. I prefer to have a certain base skill level for all of them, so that at a given heat I can win with most weapons.
I have played some weapons more than others (looking at you, Chaos Shield), but I'm pretty well spread out

So on ResetERA there's a thread about this game and a ton of people are asking about console release, and I've been telling them that no other platforms are officially announced just yet. But it's got me thinking about the release strategy for this game.
I'm not a developer so grain of salt, but it feels like the dream scenario would be if they were courting Sony and Microsoft to be a part of whatever big event announces the PS5 or XSX release date, and basically got to say "Hades will be a launch game for PS5 or XSX."
Getting to ride that Launch Day hype seems like it'd be a great way to get this game into a ton of hands. Launch lineups typically are kind of thin, but Hades feels like it'd be a big get and maybe could end up being the best game on Day 1 for these consoles. All that said, it could be tough to pull off for a smaller team.

Basically. If I do a heat ten run but the highest heat I've done with that weapon is five the game will reward you as though you did a heat six run. You could do a heat ten run, then, five times to catch up to heat ten before having to go to eleven or higher.

If I clear a run with say 4 heat but havenāt done it on 1, 2, and 3, do I get all the rewards for the first three levels or do I have to beat it on each level to get those?

@twilit void somewhat complicated answer: if you beat it at 4 heat, it would give you the reward for 1 heat if you hadnt done it before
and then if you did it at 4 heat 2 more times it would give you the bounties for 2 and 3
it wouldnt automatically give you the 1/2/3 heat rewards

Is it me or the Rama bow feels kinda weak? It barely has any DPS in the beginning of a run so I have to dance around a couple of armored skeletons for minutes

I've only used it once (and I had a rather good status afflict + Poseidon cast) but it seemed pretty strong on power shot plus the bonus special damage.

No, fountain between the acts is fairly rare actually, but there's one at each of the act's ends, including Styx.
Maximum possible bonus is 35%, but you'd need to get insanely lucky to even get there.
Well, technically you can get a heroic one which would give 6%, but it's extremely hard to impossible to pull that off before early Asphodel, so the first two are likely 5% anyway.
You'd need like get it out of the gate, get Demeter for rare crop in the very next room and then finish 9 encounters before the end of Tartarus to even get the one between the acts to 6%. Even if you get the fountain chamber in Tartarus it won't give the max 6%.

I'm on my twentieth ||hades|| attempt and used all 4 death defiance charges i had, as my last cast was travelling and FINALLY would have killed him, i got sweeped and died.

Question about the hidden aspect for Exagryph, the Adamant Rail. Is the hammer upgrade ||Eternal Chamber, the one that gives you infinite ammo but no longer ramps damage|| really bad?
It sounds like it would just kill all damage the gun is doing, but I'm not particularly fond of the other upgrades offered to me.

I haven't played it, so I couldn't say. I imagine the worst thing by SGG is still wonderful and leagues above many other companies' best. Their dedication, passion, and hard work brings these games to the fore front of the industry, and their desire to communicate and learn from their community while still standing ground by their own development philosophies is inspiring and sorely lacking in a lot of the video game industry.
