It can be super random. Even if you do everything correctly, it can still take like 20 games to unlock the next part

Technically yes (I think World record is sub seven now in a seeded run), but no worries about that pact. It's 7 or 9 minutes per SECTION, not total.
So you just need to worry about clearing the boss of each area in under that time limit, which is way more manageable.

After you unlock all of the eeapons, and have talked with Achilies about Titan's Blood. The run after those two conditions are fuffiled you can start unlocking.
as for chaos i think they just like, show up after a few runs and I don't think there's a particular qualifier beyond "not the first run".

does anyone else find that basically all of the dash upgrades (other than hermes) feel kind of underwhelming? I basically only like Zeus' since its kind of a set and forget kind of thing, and I mostly play the melee weapons

I had some trouble that caused me to switch hard drives, to one that had some old saves inside. I thought it wouldn't be an issue because of cloud saves, but every time I open the game, it reverts to the old ones! I've even tried deleting the old saves and letting Steam download the ones from cloud, but nothing

thanks! I played using the chaos shield and basically stopped using my normal attacks for the last part of the game. my main struggle for the past 20 rounds or so has been hades, and my stragegy ended up being try and stay as far away from him as possible and just keep doing ranged attacks
