Not only because they are so easy to piss off apparently (like children), but also because they stop being pissed off right after, it doesn't feel mature at all. I know it's primarily a game mechanic and it that regard it makes sense, but I dislike it narratively very much. I have less respect for each olympian that cries like a baby in those moments."
I think the jealousy mechanic is based on how the gods often WERE depicted as quite petty in legends and stories. They were definitely spiteful!

@onyx roost yeah, but hades doesn't always go for the obvious mythology, quite the opposite, and that's one of the things I like most about the game. Also these olympians never existed for real ๐ , so there is no issue with taking creative freedom. I just don't think it fits at all. I mean I have a problem with whole olympian setup anyway. All these mighty gods seem like their entire existence is centered around the player now, they don't do anything else. This is criticism on a very high level, I won't stop playing or enjoying the game for any of these reasons.

What are generally the best casts to focus on/build around for a Hera bow run? Still pretty new to the game, 15 total attempts, gotten to Styx 3 times and final boss once (Twice WITH chiron and good rng and once with chaos shields and good rng) so I'm still pretty new/unlocking things

So... I've done about 5 runs or so since the new update and haven't seen any sign of Demeter. Should I be worried, or is this just crummy luck? The only thing I can think of besides luck that might have caused this is that I wasn't thinking and in my first new run I equipped one of the trinkets that makes a certain Olympian appear first...? That and my save was in the middle of a run when I jumped back in.

I think it really boils down to just a couple of simple steps -- putting on the early access title in bot-commands and being sure to only list one piece of feedback per comment are the big ones. But if you have any questions the mods are all really nice too! (I haven't done any actual feedback so my real experience is limited, haha.)

If not, wouldn't have been better to create less redundant boons but more specific theme for each god? Like it is for Hermes who give boons all related to speed or Artemis with her selection of critical hit related boons. Ares could be only increasing damage, Athena would be defense and Aphrodite would be all about regeneration or decreasing damage output for example.

Anyone having a hard time with Guan Yu spear? I have forced overtime on (at 5) and extreme measures maxed and when I get to the fury fight, it becomes nigh impossible to find a good opportunity to attack without just getting clipped by one of them.
The only time I've been successful with it are runs where I get super lucky early and can like 6-shot the fury. But if I can't, I just lose 1.5 DD's against them (and that's basically run over)

I don't think the weapons scales well with heat, but it's difficult to make a lifesteal weapon balanced at low heat and high heat at the same time, unless it has different stats for different heat levels

Because with FO at 0, the fight is easy PZ
But with everyone going so fast, you inevitably get hit and you can't spin heal off the bosses
(since they attack faster than hammer upgraded fast spin)

the fury that does the laser, then dashes to where the laser went... you can charge after dodging the laser, than awkwardly dash + release special, to dodge her dash, and hit her with the special
similarly, awkwardly poisitioning yourself, do if she dash attack, dash attack, big spinny attack, you can dash + release special when the giant spinny thing happens
but it's really a lot of effort though. For most of the fight, it might be better to just attack her as normal, and save the charged attack for the additional trash mobs in the room

yeah but even attacking as normal is hard since your attack is so slow
i've taken a habit of just throwing the special out
but I still just get hit by furies
maybe the spear just isn't for me. I play sword so I just literally beat every boss by out-DPSing them (and dash attacking a lot)
