Hello, everyone. I have a question regarding 32 heat. Is it something that is 'reasonable' to finish the game with. Like, can I, given enough skill, win EVERY run at 32 heat or is it something that you have to be lucky with. Get a few Gods/use the right weapons.

I guess I'm asking: is 32 heat something you can win every time or do I have to 'cheese' it by using certain weapons/keepsakes.

everyone thats done it did it with chaos shield and 7 min

you need to get super lucky with god synergy

So basically, you cheese it with Shield and play coward strats.

(and get a lucky god combo since it's not like you get to pick your gods)

usually people go for Doom (ares) on special and weak (aphrodite) on attack and just keep focusing on doom

5 shields apply multiple dooms and mostly GG

hard part is that 7 min mark with increased enemies and elites and hardest bosses

It's the one that turns off your ability to gain invulnerability when you take huge chunks of damage in a short period of time

(which can cause you to get more easily one-shot bit multi-hits)

The heat gauge is already full and if I try to put it on 6 to get another bounty from the first boss it seems like it doesn't work. Do I have to beat the game on 5 heat before I can move on to 6 heat?

Spear is a weird one because I always feel powerful with it and yet some how it's the one I do one of the worst with.

The two main things I've seen help are if you are going Hades aspect you NEED to get the Daedalus Hammer with quick spin, otherwise you are at risk of standing still too long, and taking un-needed damage, massive spin also really helps.

Currently in my opinion Hades or Zag. Hades is pretty straight forward: Spin, stack two types of damage and dash attack away at their face.

Zag is a little more complicated, you also need Daedalus Hammer for it, but you are now more focusing on it as if it where a ranged weapon and very rarely using it as a melee weapon. Vicious Skewer makes the recovery which is usually a backstab have a 50% chance to crit, that along with an Artemis build is VERY powerful.

Most people think that the spear is a melee weapon, but it's actually both melee and range, and unfortunately if you don't have a build in mind or try and go middle ground it is weak in both regards.

Most of the time if I go into it thinking: "This is now a ranged weapon, the attack is secondary" I do far better.

I would disagree CCalmify, I feel like both of them are weaker than the others. Not to say that they can't be strong, or that you some how can't do well with them. I just think they need a deeper understanding of the game to build properly which makes them way more situational and a bit more luck based.

For example my first win was with the Stygian Blade. I had no real build in mind, I just liked gods for what they looked like and didn't seek anything out in particular and still won.

I tried doing the same for the bow and spear and those I couldn't just go in guns-a-blazing and win I had to plan it out.

Fun fact. Poseidon dash due to the knockback effect, cancels projectiles coming at you. No deflect but they can’t damage you unless they’re lasers

and even without that, the special pretty much guarantees that you're going to hit the doom every time it's off cooldown

and you dont need to make it so you only hit one enemy with the special, you can spreadfire it into a group to get a ton of doom procs

but yeah telos, the chiron aspect bow can take pretty much any special boon and run with it

poison = instant 5 stack application, poseidon = multiple wall hits per special, athena = never get hit by a projectile again, aphrodite = huge damage, and if you can get the legendary boon, permanent charm even on bosses

and the nice part is, the playstyle changes depending on what boon you get, so you're not playing exactly the same way each time

another thing I noticed, gods will offer replacements on boons if it's a higher rarity than what you have, so you could take a normal rarity attack boon, and have a decent chance of replacing it down the line

I just had a glitch that happened after I got Athena's "Sure Footing" I just randomly got insta-killed twice by something. I think it had to do with me breaking a wall, but I was at 100+ HP and I instantly died with no damage pop up.

it might just be that without the invulnerable time, you caught a huge amount of damage from a wall slam on mino
