They are rewars for prophesies and Pact of Punishment.
Pact has a reward for clearing runs based on a level of heat from 1-20 in normal mode and 1-25 in hell mode.

You can unlock fountain rooms that will heal you further in the game, there are also keepsakes that help with healing (heal when you get darkness, healing items in urns) and you can buy healing items in the shop and in the wells. There is also a mirror ability that will give you a regen of up to 3HP per room. That's pretty much it for heals.

I assume then it only actually saves your saves when you exit the game properly or finish a run, so if the process dies mid-run you’re stuck at the start?

it basically saves but deletes the save when the quit option gets changed to a give up option - so when you took damage or got a choice(boon or sth) that isnt saved yet
if the game closes during that time it basically behaves as if you picked the give up and sets you before the run 😦

Hey, i bought Hades today and i noticed that when ever i Attack or do a Dash the game textures gets Fuzzy/blurry for a second. Then when hes done with the action the textures go back to normal. I didn't find anyone else talking about this. Can someone possibly help me with this?

No, you can still die. It was important to us to still keep the rogue-like pattern of learning through deaths, and Hades has story/character progression that's tied to the times you've died. Your character, Zagreus, is naturally tougher in God Mode, and will get tougher with each death.

Titan blood is one of end game resources. When you will get better it will be easier to collect it using more heat. You can get titan blood, nectar and diamonds only once per level heat on each weapon.

@balmy mural On the subject of the dash; it used to have higher recovery, but it ended up hurting the ability to deal with crowd control and certain bosses with continuous attacks a great deal, to the point that Athena Dash was by and large the best dash boon. The dash doesn't have a lot of I-Frames, and mostly serves to aid in mobility and re-angling attacks. To increase the dash's recovery in its current state would de-stablize a great deal of the game's enemy balancing, especially with Chariots, Elysium bosses, small rats, and Alecto.

it seemed like i gradually came to incorporate each of Zag's moves one at a time. like, i'm pretty sure at first i was mainly only using attack and dash, once i got more used to that i incorporated special, i neglected cast for a long time but once i got into using it it really helped a lot

@iron snow Regarding the Call mechanic, you need to pick up specific "Call-Aid" Boons before you can use the Call button. Certain Boons will pop up with the "Call" subtype and once you acquire one of those THEN the Call bar will appear below your health and fill when you take/deal damage.

when one segment is filled press the button for a smaller effect, and if the whole bar is filled press it for an incredibly powerful one
a full bar often does enough damage to skip a phase of a bossfight altogether

@bleak dawn for new players, I would recommend Zag’s aspect with the shield, the damage reduction is nice and having the ability to block gives you more time to learn the enemy’s pattern.

What's the difference between increasing the rarity and level of a boon?

Higher rarity boons start stronger and scale higher because of it.

The math must be quite different if you add +1 to twice as many as you increase rarity.

there's also a gamble element I think? it's up to 2/4 but not guaranteed
except the last one, the next 3 are getting rarity boost
but the + rarity is for up to 2 boons but could be just 1, and +1 level to up to 4 boons but could be just 2 or 3

200 is a lot. It's more than enough to jumpstart any run in any biome.

Does anyone know if there is a way to change mouse sensitivity inside the game. I use 1440p monitor and sensitivity is different on windows screen and in game. I usually to fix it use higher DPI

@fiery jungle If you have not completed a run yet then you can only get one per weapon. You must first leave the underworld in order to unlock the ability to claim additional bounties from bosses.

Just using the other weapons. So you're stuck at 5 until you clear the final boss.

Titan blood is still useful with the lounge merchant so I doubt it

The bounties are fixed payouts, you get 1 of each zone reward with each weapon once per difficulty. You'll unlock the ability to increase difficulty (and therefore get new rewards) after you finish the final boss once.
And there are a few other ways to earn it, the merchant in the lounge and one other place.

Hey guys. I had been playing for a while when they first introduced heat and the contract and ever since they changed the location of the contract it has completely disappeared for me. Is this a known issue? Should I report it in #h1-tech-support or something? I reported it a while ago with F10 ingame
