IIRC you get the heat rewards progressively, so if you run 16 heat but only have heat 8 rewards, you will get heat 9 rewards unlocking the next tier of rewards
You don't get heat 16 rewards, but you do still get the rewards along the way
Playing on heat beyond the scale its giving you is just for your own self-challenge, you will be rewarded the same as if you just added a heat each time you succeeded a run

Yes! You cannot go beyond their limit. If you check the journal (that Achilles provides at some point) and go to that character's entry you can see how many you have given and how many more you can give
You will never waste with a character and you will always get the keepsake (if they have one) from the first time you gift to them

Hey @grim wadi ! Ma'Sair is correct, at least in regards to save files from the retail version on the Epic Games store. Unfortunately we can't guarantee that save files from a cracked copy will work in the same way, as often times cracked copies are not up to date and may cause crashes upon attempted launch.
If that's the case, unfortunately we won't be able to do anything to assist the crash, as, again, cracked copies do not have access to updates that have been released for free on the Epic Games store, and any future updates that are released there and on Steam. Thank you for deciding to pick up our game on Steam tomorrow! 🤘

Hey Biohazard, goodnight! So far in our Steam playtesting, saves have been automatically available upon loading up Hades. If your save files are in the default save location, locally on your computer, there shouldn't be an issue to load up the save. It's a relatively small crowd that's been able to test this though, so if you experience any issues tomorrow please let us know!

@dark tusk I really think you should give it a shot given how great the game shapes with every update, i play most of my games on console but i started playing all three of SSG on pc , fall in love with them and bought them again on console (sadly bastion is the only one on xbox) but i think you should give Hades a try, it has a great price and is not a demanding game so that it requires a expensive pc to enjoy it.

All the tracks I listed already exist, they just need to be made available to download somewhere. The Music Stand has the 2 instrumentals, while Good Riddance is obviously sung by a certain 2 characters in game.

@dark tusk I think there is a page for that, however i gifted it to a friend who has a laptop that barely runs a lot of games, but she can play Hades just fine, you can also buy the steam version that comes tomorrow, try it to see if your pc runs it and if it doesn't, you can ask a refund (as long as you play less than 2 hours) is what i do with games i'm not sure my lap runs (is a very weird laptop) , i'm mostly telling you this because i really really think Hades is worth it (it's the only game i have bought from the epic store) Because i think the game will come to consoles in maybe another year

I think you cant do it wirelessly, but with a charger-usb cord and some software you can plug it in.

I played with controler on the ps4 and ihave found it way harder than the time i played it on pc with mouse and keyboard, i am too used to the mouse and keyboard on games like that , same reason i havent played ruiner yet

I like rogue-lites in general, but they need to have something that gets me hooked. Wizard of Legend has the great 2 players co-op, Into the Breach has its unique turn-based strategy gameplay, Hades has its story, characters, art, music, combined with fun gameplay where most builds are viable. On the other hand, I have a strong dislike for Binding of Isaac: the theme is just ugliness and poop, which has no appeal for me, and there's a lot of items that are completely useless or completely broken. Dead Cells and Slay the Spire I like, but not enough to play them a lot.
Was never a fan of Transistor. The art, music and story were great, but I did not fall in love with the gameplay like I did with Pyre afterwards.

I love that in Pyre, the story has an effect on the gameplay and the gameplay has an effect on the story. It's not something you see a lot, although there is some of that in Hades, with the keepsakes (story becomes gameplay) and event chains that trigger when you reach certain characters and such (gameplay becomes story).

I honestly don't know about the aspects because i had finished it before they came out, but i'm sure someone here knows. The rewards the pact gives are different resources by beating each location with a "heat level" which is a "make the game harder" kinda thing

Pact gives you Blood for upgrading the aspects, Diamonds for contractor unlocks, and Ambrosia for hi-end gifting.

I just had one of the easiest runs I've ever had with the bow. But it was the max Hera bow with 8 casts and Artemis on attack and quick dislodge, so it only took like 5 hits to get through the final boss.

Once you learn to dodge its main attacks, it's not too bad. For you, it's probably just a matter of 1. learning good builds, since you're so new at it, and making sure you pick boons that synergize. and 2. learning how to use each weapon effectively. In all honesty, I'd say just keep practicing since you're so new at the game

I think, what's important - is to kill some of the first heads ASAP, so you had a place where you could more or less safely stand

Focus on dodging before damage while learning the bosses. Predicting/maneuvering around enemies is more important than getting damage in at the start, because you can always find a way to get damage in. Personally, I start at one side and kill the heads in either a clockwise/counter-clockwise rotation, so I can focus on one head at a time
Shield with bull rush hammers + deflect attack = slowest damage but safest, easiest build, imo

How does hera aspect works

Hera aspect takes some getting used to for sure. When you press your "cast" button, instead of firing your bloodstone, it loads into the bow's arrow. So when you fire your arrow, the arrow now has the cast with it.
You can put one, or all of your casts into the arrow.

You can just cast yourself, definitely. It depends on the cast, really. It's quicker to load a cast than to fire one. I can load 8 casts in the time I can fire one or two. Putting them all into a single arrow ensures they hit the same target, and I can do so while keeping my distance and playing safe

Also, what's nice about that is when you do it and they kill the target, you don't have to worry about dislodge. So you can just dash over, pick 'em up, repeat

It's essentially similar to Hestia Rail, where you can build one-shot stuff
Even the Artemis one was nice on the bow, because once again, it ensured they all hit the same target. You can do it quicker than regular casting, and you don't have to wait for dislodge so you just repeat on hit

I'm guessing @grim wadi is referring to situations similar to other rogue-likes, where each biome has a pool of randomised bosses. Hades works that way for the first biome (Tartarus), but it takes a few runs for the alternate bosses to be unlocked.

The Hades wiki has the information behind them
For example, for Ares Vicious Cycle Legendary, you need either the Black Metal boon OR the Engulfing Vortex boon. But Engulfing Vortex and Black Metal won't appear until you get either Slicing Shot, Blade Dash, or Ares' aid.
So the path would be something like Slicing Shot -> Black Metal -> Vicious Cycle

The special buffs are irrelevant, so is infinite chamber (for obvious reasons). Flurry fire is irrelevant because you reload after every shot so you don't need the ammo. Explosive fire is decent since it adds dps but ultimately not needed

Hey @red glade ! I can't say for certain on the Steam cloud (I've only been playing Hades on Steam through one computer), but I've just uninstalled my Hades from the EGS and was still able to load my saves as normal on my Steam copy of Hades.

Hey @vagrant bloom ! We haven't announced any additional platforms/operating systems we expect to bring Hades to - we'll have more information on that closer to the v1.0 release, sometime in 2020. We're currently planning to have Early Access only on Windows, to focus on the initial development of the game.
