They're pretty beneficial. If you have the upgrade that lets you heal upon chamber exits, the HP cost is mitigated slightly, since you get HP for entering and exiting.

I guess when it comes to the insane amount that you have speak with to unlock an entry - it's supposed to be a pretty long game, it seems, and it looks like there will be A LOT of talking. I think that generally speaking it is, but as we're still pretty early in the development of Discord as a place for communication and feedback, I think it's a pretty good thing to suggest there currently.
It's been a really hard line to toe what qualifies as a 'spoiler' with this release, at least as far as when the current build 'ends.'
A second boss may not usually be much of a spoiler when you know there are going to be more, but does it count as a spoiler when there currently isn't more past it?
