i love the shield, aspect of zeus it can have some nice combos if you get the special buff from zues to zap enemies and you just gotta throw your shield out and let it zap, though chirons bow with any sort of good special buff is also very nice as homing q shots are op in my opinion

they are quite a tough pair, are you focusing on both at the same time or trying to get one then the other? i have found its easier to take out asterius and then go for theseus as i see him as just a pushover, the bull carries the weight of their team

it takes time to get the timings down for sure, if i had any patterns i have picked up on its try and go in and strike the bull and back out quick then get behind him and wallop him. I am on attempt 100 and something and in all honesty the bone hydra gave me much more trrouble 😅 youll get it i believe in you!

If you’re not counting achievements, it’s like all housing contractor tabs completed, all weapon bounties, all prophecies, one 32 heat completion for the skelly statues, epilogue completed, max all relationships with every character and fill out every codex entry

and if you want to add 200-300 hours to that, you can do all the resource director ranks

From what ive been through in the game having completed the epilogue everyones stories have meaning in them and if you want to appreciate and understand each and every character then yes I'd start over, but to the overarching story their dialogues shouldn't be contributing all that much

Just beating every run all the way through as you get one for beating tartarus boss fight and the final floor boss fight, either that or find a way to farm as many diamonds as you can to get ambrosia to trade it for titans blood from the trader. Clearing tasks through the fates also can reward the blood

Regarding overall story, yeah what you just saw tends to happen, especially if you win and keep winning super early

The game will prioritize the "hey I just won" dialogues and then the next one and so on

As those dialogues have more priority than anything else

It took me like till post credits to get the "achilles I just killed my dad for the 1st time" once lol

You can charge your call incredibly fast by facetanking some hits

You don’t even have to drop that much it’s just (however much damage you took / your max hp ) * 60% gets added to your call gauge

If ur in a game file for too long the game starts to get very weird with interactions, the igt essentially stops moving (meaning tight deadline doesnt work) enemy ai breaks, interactions with pickups/doors break, certain parts of zag's kit work differently some examples of this being is that lucifer's special limit is removed pretty much, shield specials go much further than normal, rail reload doesnt work, you cant pick up casts/have them reload, arthur's 2nd and third hits from the standing strike combo dont trigger immediately and you can "store" them until you dash, the only way to really progress the igt is by using lots of hit stun although this is still kinda inconsistent (this means gilga still sucks ). There is also fast time dilation all of that was for slow time dilation for fast, rail reload is faster, enemies move, attack, and spawn faster, lucifer special is unchanged, pick ups are extremely fast, tight deadline suddenly becomes very much scary due to the increased igt speed increase, cast reload is much faster, and stubborn roots is "faster" because it is tied to igt for its healing. Both deal with how your framerate is and what is essentially a rounding error. For all of my slow igt testing i was running at 600 fps while for fast igt i was running at 500 fps due to the rounding. This bug is much much more potent than codex tech ever was, I have gotten a modded 2:52 anyheat time as well as a 5:14 64 heat run also modded.

That should be every major change? It's been a while since I've done testing though

The heat system is a customizable difficulty system that adds more challenge to your runs with some of the pact options being more difficult than others, but it is ultimately up to the player to decide what they choose, this system is entirely optional to play the game and is for those that want to put more challenge into their runs. Hope this helps a bit

the region rewards titan blood -> diamond -> ambrosia -> titan blood for each weapon can be repeated on an incrementally higher heat number once the previous was cleared ex: if i cleared on 4 heat and then went to 8 heat i would get the rewards for 5 heat and not all the rewards at once for 5 through 8 heat mainly i would say its for providing additional challenge but it also does provide more of the meta game currencies the maximum heat the game will give rewards for is 20 heat with there being an achievement for beating 32 heat

I would also like to add that 0 heat is tracked separately from the 20 other available bounties: it's possible to claim all of the 20 heat bounties but never collect a 0 heat one on a weapon (other than one of the weapons, since on normal mode one needs to beat a run to unlock the pact)

as opposed to all 20 heat bounties which require the previous one to be cleared to be obtainable

dash-strikes are there to let you have mobility while you shoot

ofc you can shoot in one place while your dash is on cooldown

but otherwise it’s safer and higher dps for you to dash-strike

For hestia specifically you can just shoot your hestia shot, reload it and using the special or dash to cancel the reload animation and move

Hestia can also greatly benefit from chaos dash-strike buffs applied to your hestia shot so you’d still be dash-strike just less frequently

Dio dash is a bit questionable and for the rails and Hestia you’d typically want something more immediately like the overwhelming power and aoe of tidal dash

or more single target damage from blade dash or hunter dash

I should also mention that the reason that Dio is a security blanket is because I use stubborn defiance

So strong drink was effectively a necessity, and I would bank on Patroclus giving me Touch of Styx dark or whatever it’s called

Tidal Dash is so strong they had to give it the divine dash treatment and make it not open the Sea Storm duo by itself

so you need a second poseidon core to hit Sea Storm for your tidal dash

Hades hits like a truck but his attack patterns are overall easier to get down. Hug your dad and look for his teleport cues. I feel like if I’m not on top of it I can quickly get lost in the Elysium fight tho
