What are the conditions for the autograph from Asterius to Hypnos conversation to trigger during the mini-boss encounter? I've already maxed out affinity with Hypnos (until the point where you need to complete his favor to proceed) and seemingly exhausted all available dialogue. I've fought Asterius alone for maybe 10 times too and his dialogue seems exhausted as well as he's just giving me only the "let's fight" line all the time

Do I maybe need to purposely loose to Asterius a few times?

Lowkey wished once H2 got near its 1.0 release H1 got a balance patch and maybe one or two ultra late game dialogues that hints into the events of H2.

A few aspects desperately needs some buffs

And considering the game's lifespan I think its pretty safe to assume the community has a pretty good grasp on what works and what could use some tweaking

for fist, you have fight asterius 1v1 and he has to acknowledge you wearing them
for shield, you need to visit chaos with it
afterwards you don't need to have them equipped

Is it me or all weapons special kinda suck in comparision to the main attack

I tried to power up them but it's so hard to make it work

Swords, and fist use their special as a part of their dps rotation and some spear aspects, zeus shield, and all the rails end up using their special a ton

spears and rail can actually build it up really well

The only aspects that only really use their special for opening duos and never really touch is in combat are like zag shield, chaos and beowulf shields, zag, and hera bows, and that’s pretty much it

The rest of them can either slip specials into their damage rotation for better damage, can actively focus around them with hammers, or need to use them for some part of their aspect bonus to work

You're more expected to take like, 40 than 20 ish

And in that time you're expected to build up relationships, repair stuff, etc

I'm trying to finish Goddess of Wisdom and I'm missing Bronze Skin, Holy Shield, and Proud Bearing - Proud Bearing I get, because I need someone else's call first and then need to run into Athena and that just never seems to happen. But Bronze Skin and Holy Shield say they have no pre-reqs on the wiki, and I've gotten 3+ athena boons almost every run for the last 28 runs and I've seen neither. I've spent almost a day trying to get these and I must be missing something. Is there any way to bait them into appearing?

They all have an equal chance to pop up as Athena’s other tier 2’s

Your best shot at it is just filling up your core boons (strike, special, cast, dash) so the game doesn’t automatically take one option up with one of those

and then take Athena’s status effect (Blinding Flash iirc) because status effects have better odds than other secondary boons

At that point you’ll have removed everything that takes prioritity or has an odds advantage over regular secondary boons
