Coming from somebody who’s been playing for two years but only recently sort of began to understand how unimpactful certain heat modifiers really are, even like 6-8 heat can start to feel like nothing once you’re in a good groove

And that’s saying something coming from me because I’m kind of terrible at this game

All of my bounties are at like two for most weapons and four on like two of them, but I’m pretty sure that recently I’ve been running 6 pretty consistently

Now that I’m used to that, I’m probably gonna use that same setup on nearly every weapon until that’s not enough

or while playing unmodded anyheat if you are good enough to never accidentally die to rooms or bosses while having a strong build. SD makes anyheat resets faster

When you say very first try

Fresh file gaming is a thing

where you start a new save file and attempt to beat Hades asap (usually on the very first attempt of the file)

I dont like the hidden aspect of shield, first off bull rush does the same amount of damage regardless of how long its held so you’re just better off getting up close and whacking, whacking does 40 vs the extra time you spend holdjng for 50, then the cast? Yeah the dionysus cast, but after you use it, it remains suspended in a cloud for sometime, and you cant use it during that period, not to mention it is useless against very agile enemies
Not to mention the +10% damage that you take

Phase 1: Priority Boons

1. If you have no core boons (attack/special/cast/dash), 3 core boons are selected as priority boons

2. If you have at least one core boon, 1 core boon you do not have is selected as a priority boon. If there is an eligible replacement core boon, there is a 10% chance a priority core will be a replacement. (Not applicable for the first few runs on a fresh save)

3. If you have an eligible priority status boon (Blinding Flash, Static Discharge, Hunter's Mark, Razor Shoals), there is a 50% chance it is selected as a priority boon.

   Phase 2: Regular Boons**
   At this point you have between 0 and 3 priority boons. For the remaining 3 to 0 slots, the following process takes place per slot.

4. If duo/legendary is eligible, roll for duo/legendary chance (whatever yours is, 12/10% base for regular room/miniboss rarity). If successful, pick a random eligible duo/legendary

5. If failed or none eligible, roll for epic rarity chance. If fails, roll for rare rarity chance.

6. Once rarity is selected, pick a random eligible boon (not duo/legendary)

7. If there are no eligible boons remaining, an eligible replacement core is offered.

Phase 3: Rerolling
If you reroll a boon screen with Fated Persuasion, one of the offered boons from the screen will be 100% ineligible to appear on the rerolled screen. This applies to Wells of Charon and Purging Wells too.

To be fair its actually nice, especially on heat when you have more enemies with more health that are faster

In astophodel i ran into a nightmare with witches that were spamming spells jn like 8 different directions, there was so much stuff on the screen i didnt even know what i was doing
