I’ve only ever really used stygian soul, how do you even properly use infernal soul and is there any evaluation between them like when you should use one over the other.

every time I’ve tried to use infernal to understand how to play it it’s turned into something that doesn’t get stuck in enemies and drop like normal (blade rift & laser crystal) so I’ve not understood it
