Personally, I just look for the white flash above the bobber and ignore the bobber itself. Some players have said they have better success when putting their thumb on the bobber to not get distracted by that, so maybe you could give that a try.

A Perfect Catch means catching a fish within 340ms. Perfect Catches are 50/50 on being a legendary or rare fish. Any other catch is 50/50 on being a rare or common fish.

aight gonna be honest i'm about to sleep so i only watched 1 minute
first boon, just take the attack. you're using hades spear, you don't really need anything else except maybe like tidal dash from poseidon or divine dash from athena. you had dem for your first boon, nothing she offers is gonna be useful other than the attack.
also starting sigil is pretty worthless. for the first two biomes, you want to take god keepsakes. those let you control your build and have a better chance for you to get the build you want

i also skipped to the end and it's not a complete run so i can't really critique the overall build lmao

i can take a look at this later in the morning, or jazz might come around and give a review idk

also side note, hades spear is kinda just eh considering using the spin on spear kinda sucks in general

the bonus on achilles is equal to the hades spear debuff (at max level), but applying a buff to yourself on achilles is much more intuitive and easier than applying debuffs to enemies

and achilles can also lead into stronger builds more easily

i thought dem's increased healing was nice coz i got +4 each chamber rather than 3 from the start, but thats prob still not as good as an earlier attack boom. i got it later on

dem's increased healing should really only be taken in emergency situations when you're in desperate need of a big heal right then and there

otherwise the marginally increased regen per room isn't really worth it

if you like using hades spear then by all means keep using it and enjoy yourself ofc

ig ill talk about the fight against the two spear dudes and the shielddude around 24 min in. youre mainly using standing strikes but cant stunlock all three at the same time which ends up with you eating a lot of damage. you want to be using dash strikes most of the time since they let you reposition while hitting fast and in a wider area. enemies lock on to your initial position during their wind up and usually cant retarget very well so you want to be constantly dashstriking around the edge or through a group instead of standing still. as for hades spear one tip is you can keep holding attack after inputting it for a dashstrike and itll transition into charging the spin. you can also release the spin using your dash instead of just letting go of attack, this'll give the spin better reach in a certain direction
