Favor

Your casts would be hitting while you’re still getting ready for the second shot, meaning by the time you let out the second shot (the one with 1 cast loaded), the 3 stones from the prior shot would have already landed so you can dash and pick up all 3 and you would have got the first 3 damage instances faster so it’s better to avoid things like furies dashing/hades darkness etc because you’re phasing them a bit faster. It is a slight optimization but when your build is tight and you split properly you can get great fury times like 10-11s just out of clean play. On the other hand when you split 2-2, you shoot the first volley and before you’re ready to fully release the second the 2 stones would be already ready to pick up, meaning there is a small window where you have no casts popping, which is why you squeeze one more cast in there so it becomes 3-1.
