Boonless leaderboard rules are different from what the game requires to get the unique dialogue and run clear message. Leaderboard rules require that you don't benefit from any boon in any way in your run (but you can have as many as you like, in theory). The run clear message requires that you don't have any purgeable boons by the end of the roon, so anything that can't be purged is fine.
