i was gonna say that i'd hardly consider cod games art, but it probably does mean something to someone who was a part of making it, so i guess it's art? because to me art is something that has meaning, even to just one person, and something the artist uses to express themselves. and that probably happened somewhere in there. but overall it's also just soulless, catering to the lowest common denominator to maximise profit and straight up copying better games

it's like the only good campaign in the entire series

it had some historical value in it

and it wasn't just us good propaganda like the other games

well besides cod 2 which was great

and yes i wouldnt say black ops had the best stories in history but it's very good especially for a cod game

i understand that feeling, emotionally. to say that propaganda and corporate art are art feels icky & contradicts this idea that art is a good, meaningful thing in our society. my answer to that feeling is just that "art" isn't inherently good or meaningful; it's just not really something that carries much status on its own. to say something is art isn't to say it's honorable, only that it was made with the intent of being art
