idk man their track record with remakes is kinda awful rn. look at the lion king. the animation was a huge part of what made the movie so memorable, and remaking it with hyper realistic looking animals took out a ton of the charm the original had. scenes that were supposed to be emotional and tug at your heart just dont have the same effect because of how the animals are animated. i just dont wanna see them ruin hercules too

I don't personally feel supergiant needs to make a pr statement when their actions have always shown they've been for inclusivity. though I myself am not poc so perhaps my opinion is overstepping here (and please tell me if that is the case) but.. when so many of these statements from these other companies are contradictory to their history of actions, idk. actions do speak louder than words after all, but I suppose you could apply the same to sgg's lack of statement.. but if their lack of statement instills distrust in anyone did they pay attention to sgg's constant message of inclusivity in the first place?

It is the world's largest civil rights movement. While I understand the whole lip service thing, and that a lot of political issues have varying shades of grey, I think this issue in particular has some pretty clear cut sides to it. It's oppression. Either you are against it, or you actively/passively are contributing to it. Everyone does need to do better, and in such historical times, it's nice to know that those you support monetarily are standing on the right side of history with you.

popping back in here before i get sidetracked again re: again i did disclose and acknowledge much of my opinion is painted by my own cynicism i do definitely get where everyone else is coming from; the protests against police brutality arent simply a trend for many people, its every day life for them and its important we get more people to understand that, understand that it needs to change. seeing a show of solidarity is definitely meaningful and i dont begrudge anyone for wanting that, esp now. unfortunately its been so long now im not sure sgg will say anything and idk how thats going to affect people's opinion of them for choosing to stay silent :/ i do understand that, coming from a company you've for the most part trusted, the silence isnt particularly a good look. i just wanted to come back and acknowledge ive backread, i dont really have anything further to add since ultimately its not my place to speak over the black community

Elite Dangerous is a game in which soon will have more exploration on planets. And Star Citizen is a project for sure with quite the big budget, that seems to be going in a quite long development road that I am unsure will be worth in the end.
