Yeah, though, listen, I honestly should end my participation on this right now because the trash won't take itself out, but if I have a final message to part with, it's that I don't think you have a full understanding of what politics actually is and means, and I do understand the need to limit your engagement because it's very easy to let your hyperempathy and lack of familiarity do the thinking for you. However, politics, the larger definition of it, is all around us, and it affects all of us, and eventually you might have to speak up. I think it's important to prepare for if you do.

depends! it varies and parrots can have a different scent to their feathers if you safely take them outside, ect

it's hard to describe but bird owners will just generally understand what "bird smell" is if you mention it 😅

like mine has his normal scent but if i take him to outside in a carrier, or even sometimes just sitting him beside a window is enough, his feathers will smell differently in a way I just identify as "outside"

there's probably terms to this phenomenon but I've never looked haha

the feathers gather scents but the bird beneath the feathers has this slightly creamy, slightly stinky, slightly dusty, slightly fruity kind of smell

humans with birds often smell their puffy birds by the back neck and get somewhat addicted to the smell

i was looking more at pokemon that would fit zag in terms of strength and energy, but i settled on infernape specifically bc infernape powers up at low health and that would fit in with zag honestly. just his nature for not giving up and such

absol for thanatos bc absol was seen to be an ill omen, as was thanatos in myth, when absol forewarns of disaster and thanatos simply appears to take those close to death. theyre misunderstood in that regard. and then the aesthetic nature, absol's scythe, the wings in mega form since than in classical art was winged, ect.

komala for hypnos not just bc its perpetually asleep, but one of its dex entries states it remains asleep bc of the sedative properties in the leaves it eats, which you can loop in with poppies being a symbol for hypnos (and than, to a lesser degree), and its just generally able to act while asleep, so.

It's more of an EGS thing. Time and time again they show it's not good to make exclusive releases on there and devs still do it. I just hoped an experienced team like you guys would understand, that for hardcore gamers or hardcore fans a week of delay(especially when the release notes are out, people are streaming all around and friend are playing on Steam) is extremely frustrating and/or infuriating. People feel cheated for supporting the game early just to get a weekly block from the freshest,juciest release, right when they were anticipating the main release itself anyway.

Again, we don't know EGS's internal pipeline. If not many EGS games utilize beta branches, it's possible the build process or upload process isn't as easy to work with as steam.

Examples of how this could differ would be needing permission from epic to create a beta branch, incompatibility with the upload process for currently used tools, different folder or layout format that interferes with this, etc.

Considering this beta is only being shared through discord, it can be safe to say this ISNT supposed to be the true content drop. If they wanted to actually bait for steam copies, they'd be promoting the technical beta all over the place and pretending it IS the major update.

It's apparent they did not expect the technical beta to be so sought after, or for EGS customers to be left out, and Greg has made a statement saying they're already looking into EGS distribution of the technical beta.
