My friend who finally convinced me to try Hollow Knight only recently discovered the White Palace.

He still hasn't seen the Path of Pain or the Eternal Ordeal.

There are other parts of Hollow Knight that are beyond my skills

I've done the majority of the game but never beat the Radiance, NKG or any of the Pantheons

or the Trial of the Fool

I beat the Radiance but haven't attempted to finish the Pantheons, and I tried my hand at NKG and he dumpstered me.

I think regular Grimm is the peak of boss design in the game and Nightmare King just feels unfair

Dark Souls is certainly a video game which I enjoyed playing

Hots was kind of way too attention and power draining in pvp, pve I think is a chill experience, just that nothing much changes considering bots always follow the same pattern.

Problem for me with the Outer Worlds is how enemies much are meh. The main punchline being corporations bad which gets old honestly. World feels somewhat empty. The difficulty past some level is not there. The main plot annoys me due to pure fact how it contradicted itself and never made the really any feel of greyness in decisions. Rather the "do good or do bad". And sidequests are sometimes just not something special.

@strange valley i know I'm a bit late, but you could also try launching hades directly from the install folder instead of using the egs launcher. I'm pretty sure games from it don't have drm so you shouldn't need to go through the launcher

So, i typed this is the wrong channel, but for anyone out there that cares to read about myself a bit. I have autism and cerebral palsy. I was born at 23 weeks at 1 lb 8 oz.

i collapsed a month or so ago
walking into my room, my knees buckled, legs gave out, and i tripped forward, hit my head on the sharp end of the wall, lost consciousness for like a split second. I tried to brace myself, but i was out of it.
proceeded to smash my skull on the hard tile floor, and could not see out of my left eye for several hours

I called my sister frantically to get my mom on the phone, and i wound up at the hospital for several hours. Thankfully no concussions or broken bones, just badly bruised.

So I just got new headphones because I wanted to try wireless again since my soundcard died. Is anyone else here enough of a turbo nerd that they need the crispiest audio possible when playing Supergiant games? The opening guitar notes of No Escape already had me but when the Death and I sting played and half the bass was missing I had to stop.

I had a pair of wireless Sennheisers once that started out amazing and then the sound went sideways (literally, audio focus shifted way to the left and stayed there).

I'll be returning these and getting an external soundcard.

Depends on how much you care about it being Chinese made or not, whether you want it all in one combo, or separate DAC and amp. Although a pretty good all arounder that's Chinese is the Topping DX7 Pro. There's also the American made Schiit Hel and Fulla, which are not bad. Anything from JDS Labs is great

Schiit used to be not amazing, but it's pretty okay now. Although it wouldn't be my top pick

Yeah, understandable! With GameStop, they will also occasionally ask for ID for pickup, but the receipt is more important. If you called ahead, in theory they should be able to let another person pay down the rest of the balance and pick it up for you? This seems like a cause for an exception.
