IMHO Transistor > Bastion > Pyre > Hades
Hades is the best mechanically but had the weakest OST

I think hades has the least emotionally charged songs but itโs soundtrack is not the weakest imo. It just doesnโt have as much nostalgia associated with its scores. But itโs subjective

Hades's music is all-round serviceable with some absolute bangers, which is about where I'd put Bastion. A lot of the ambient music is fine without being distracting in both games, with the occasional standout like Spike in a Rail or the vocal tracks.
And then you get stuff like God of the Dead/Unseen Ones, which is just... nutso good.
Pyre and Transistor's music is some powerful stuff. Never To Return and Paper Boats still cause spontaneous feelings if I'm not ready for them when they come up, and a bunch of the other tracks from both are stuff that I still pull up for casual listening.

hades is hands down my fav ost but that's largely because I'm more invested in the world and characters, so the way the audio is delivered in hades resounds with me more. transistor is my runner up though. I know a lot of people consider hades ost weak but honestly the biggest thing is the music is set up to be affected by what you are doing at any given point in your run, while the others aren't. so the hades ost has its ups and downs

I really love God of the Dead, though, because it keeps evolving on the same basic melody that gets presented in the theme tune, and the entire "DEATH" riff used throughout the soundtrack in general. Something about taking that single riff and spinning so much evolution out of it tickles me. And then the rock guitars kick in.

My only issue with Hades' soundtrack is that a lot of the ambiance throws me a bit, for Asphodel and Elysium in particular. The keynote songs like boss music and the vocal tracks are excellent as usual

Gotta admit Hades is probably my least fave soundtrack, I'm not as much of a fan of straight up rock which is Most of the soundtrack and I find it has the most forgettable tracks. Like even with the Boss Music I can only remember the first and last boss theme, which is sort of the main theme anyway. I like stuff with a crazy variety of sounds lmao. Pyre is by far my favorite I think as an overall soundscape, it has some more forgettable ambient tracks but it's just crazy how much motifs it has going with the distinct instrumentation for the different triumvirates. Really helps it stick in my mind. Will of the Scribes and ALL the vocal tracks are Amazing.
Transistor for me is the one soundtrack where pretty much every track is memorable. Again all great vocal tracks, Impossible, Signals, She Shines, god. Iconic riffs from the first song to the last. I guess I'd put it up there together with Pyre for my top, but again I still like how Pyre seems to explore a bigger variety of sounds.
Bastion's my least played game so I can't Wholly comment on it on context... but I love jamming to it more than Hades lmao and Build a Wall is one of the greatest vocal tracks in a long record of great stuff

Transistor was with a singer as a main character, just pointing out that the songs themselves were a key part of the world and story. It was meant to dominate our attention, and be one of the let's say mediums through which we will understand and remember the game.
I find the Hades soundtrack to be perfect for what it is meant to do and be, which is to keep me engaged, it has some subtle elements that are unique and enjoyable to my ears, and overall very distinctive character.
Didn't play Pyre yet, but if I ever tire of Hades or manage to complete it inside out, I will have to get it and see. I trust it's equally fantastic.

Yeah, that's kinda how I lean. Pyre and Transistor's soundtracks are better overall, but Pyre is half a VN-style game at heart and it needs to lean on music and sound design to help convey what it needs to convey, and Transistor has music deeply baked into the main character and how she relates to the world
So those soundtracks need to be more vibrant and consequently more memorable than the ambient stage music from Bastion/Hades.

I know it would likely never happen, but with Smite game by HiRez doing collab's lately with different shows (RWBY, Avatar series, and as of today TMNT).
I would absolutely kill for a Smite x Supergiant collab. Even more so after playing through hades. There are great character choices that would fit too. Red as Nemesis, The Kid as Thor, Zagreus could work for Bellona.
Anything that gets me more supergiant is always a plus, and it would likely bring it more people playing supergiant games!
