spoilers, but ||i remember once late in the game going up against the fate and throwing the match in their favour because i was guilty about not liberating them before. anyway, after the match, rhae goes to compliment almer on his win, iirc: he gets flustered, and dalbert does this "oh ho, young love" laugh, which made me feel a lot better about things in general||

Jodi is a powerhouse once you get that knockback effect and boost her a bit, though. You have to get used to not being able to zip around the field? But then she's slow but unstoppable and she destroys everyone who tries to get in her way, it's a major power trip 🤩

Gilman was iffy indeed. His aura thing was a bit difficult but once it's widened it's not as bad. And for pyre runs he was great. Faster than Rukey but with less jumps

It felt like slapstick with Mr. Sap, since I kept going in and out of the plant's aura, banishing an opponent that was going back and forth trying to get closer to the orb 🤦‍♂️

With his sapling deployed he was just a Do Not Cross zone all around our pyre, and they kept trying to score and leaping into his aura like suicidal dolphins in fast-forward

I reached run 40 reliably getting to Final Boss, losing every time. Then I realized I had SD (from earlier runs) instead of DD (hadn't realized it got up to 3). Switching that was enough to escape most times afterwards 😑

That is true. But Pam v. Tam happened early and I figured Tam would raise the chances of the Commonwealth being overthrown.

Not much of a good reason since Rukey ended up staying because of this choice, but...at least all of Tam's outcomes were...fulfilling to read for the most part

I mean sure Tam was angry. But also like I side more with RTam than Pam. Commonwealth tried to genocide harps. That makes Tam completely justified to me, and Pam just helped the commonwealth. I mean she did it so Tam would be safe but that clearly didn't work out. I wish we'd seen more of when they were close. I kinda see Pam as a little naive for thinking the Commonwealth would give them any other mercy than a swift exile or a swift death.

Like yes, anger has clearly taken over Tam's entire life. But I don't exactly blame her for it. Maybe she's wrong about the average citizenry but like we ended up with relatively nice people in our triumvirate. Jodi was the most harp hostile. But a place that tried to wipe your entire species out and has been thus far completely successful in every attempt to kill them to the point that it's just you guys left now is like scary. And I think Tam is an expected outcome of living on the end of that.

Idk why Pam is different. I think Pam is tired, I think maybe she prefers 'leave forever to where they can't get us and forget about this war we can't win and forget about justice and try to be happy' might've been more her aim

She wanted Tam and her sisters to live. I think she got what she wanted, even if it didn't make her happy.

It's especially interesting to have all the letters they didn't make into options laid out for you, you know?

Aside from the vowels (and a couple of consonants), which would be hopelessly awkward (Aae? Uae? Qae?), a lot of them would have spelled goofy words (Hae, Pae, Wae, Yae, etc.)

Hi! I'm not sure if this is the right channel for that but: is anyone having troubles with Pyre crashes? Since I was in love with Hades and Transistor, I thought I'd give it a try and buy it (on Steam). But the game perma crashes after 2-3 minutes (best I could do was reading the book for the first time lol). This doesn't happen with any other game, my computer is almost new, my drivers are updated... Do you have any ideas I could try to make it work?
