it only has local co-op, not online - the reason people are able to play it online is thanks to steam's remote play feature (and a software called parsec previously) so there is no crossplay since there is no online to begin with

Hi! I've decided to check out the game to pass a little of the wait time until the Hades II release and man I was blown away 😍 From a narrative standpoint I even favor it slightly over Hades ❤️ Found family stories done right are so incredibly emotional, and pyre does it in a truly exceptional way! It Is an interesting contrast to the latter game, too, where it is all about blood in a pretty literal sense

I would be interested in which team setups you used for the Titan Stars Master difficulty CPU archievement? 👀 A guide tells me to use the three demons because they're slow and have long respawn times, but I just get totally destroyed by that AI at each attempt 😂 (Especially Oralech, oof those killer masteries)

Harpy aura is OP af and Tamitha can trigger aura explosion after the dash

honestly I would recommend trying to see what works for you and what doesn't and figure it out that way, when I played campaing I kept using Pamitha pretty much every much so I already had a good feel with harpies, both aura and W felt great for me

I find it super interesting, that the beginning of the early version of Never to return sounds almost like a chant you would hear in a church? Given that someone once said that much more than a sport, the rites are more of a religious ceremony and I happen to very much agree with them 😄
It would be awesome if there were an acoustic version of that early stage / one that focuses more on the vocals and minimizes the background instruments. That's kind of what I picture travelling up from the shimmerpool sounds and feels like

As my opponents I just played arround a bit, chose lendel, gilman and sir deluge
the wyrms got quenched by the protective aura very often and I just used my old method of run and plunge with the other two 😄 basically I just had to blast Lendel out of the way and see that the wyrms were nowhere in sight before sprinting like hell xD odd method but it worked lol

the trick was somehow to really to wait until they grabbed the orb, banish them with jumping on them? I almost used no implosions at all but just the lil jumps once I got through their defense. Still, pitting the lil guy against wildling runner types is madness (and this with one mastery equipped, pre first liberation rite because I wanted to send him off in first or second place. It was difficult as hell, still)

One trick (made it fairly easy) is to give hin private lessons as many as possible 😄 and don‘t use other characters in rites who have higher levels so he can claim one of the top 3 slots (you can use max enlightened tho because they won’t change the order anyways)

I just tried it and it's working for me, I reset my savefile, checked that True Nightwing was locked, then added the /TitanModeUnlocked=true option in steam launch options and it was unlocked when creating new campaing

A with Jodi, Pamitha, Bertrude and Tizo remaining, and an ascended Almer (didn't reach a peaceful outcome because I sent Oralech up, I could not do otherwise ;o; )
B had Jodi, Xae and Pamitha stay, which I really liked.
The one other campaign I'm planning will finally feature Oralech and Volfred staying downside (+2 others) + and an ascended reader 🙂
Altogether, breaking Hedwyn's promise is something I'd rather do than seperating the lovebirds (Xae/Almer, Jodi/Ignarius, Volfred/Oralech) woe me 🙈

But I’m my first playthrough pamitha remained and tamitha got liberated in her stead, that moment really affected me even if it wasn’t the right choice

It was a sudden shift, so I could guess the reasoning, but like in real life, you really can't know for sure
Then there was that option to "stay a little longer"
And she ||thanked me for it||
Really warms the hearth. It's damn shame she doesn't have infinite dialogue, because the mood dropped massively in the playthrough when she stopped speaking to me
And in the epilogue I read her note first which gave entirely new context to all the notes following

It's a little insane. But while that does encourage repeat playthroughs, it's not like you can go millions of times without going through same stuff over and over with just slight variations
I'll play this game again someday, but I can't guarantee that I won't just accidentally make mostly the same choices

I feel like you don't have the time to set up your guys without the enemy either taking the ball or killing your dudes who are too far up

If I push a guy close and then pass the ball to someone by my fire, they will just kill the guy I just advanced
And if I push my guys close without taking the ball, the enemy will take it
I have no clue how you play as a team. The ai seems to do it well, but I feel like that might just be due to me being bad at punishing it

Just passing the orb to someone in the back so your character in the front regains their aura already helps

Yolo into enemy pyre with tizo and have someone like jodi tp in front of the rival pyre

rushing it down the middle worked fine for my first playthru but I tried the more team based strategies for true nightwing since I thought it’d work better overall

I didn't have high difficulty, but if the AI knows what it is doing, those imps with ridiculous presence can just sprint at you

the strategies that worked for me were passing it btwn two fast characters on the top and bottom of the map because the ai usually wasn’t smart/fast enough to take out either of them, and that would let the characters regen stamina
and having one character banish the whole enemy team and then pass it to bertrude specifically to run it down, because she was fast + does a lot more pyre damage

They are much easier to hit than fast moving ones

True, I keep seeing people using the teleport really well in rite nite but I never got the hang of blinking to the right place so I mainly played him defensively
