I’ve unlocked the torches, in the first game my weapons of choice were the Chiron bow, Chaos shield, and regular/unique fists but I haven’t found anything that feels like them yet

the staff honestly is pretty good for ranged although youre more so gonna be doing dash strike into special for bosses, basically just weaving in and out

Skull is hard to use honestly… and the best version of it is a melee version

You can get away with coat and spamming specials too but its not great on controller (tracking is weird compared to mouse and keyboard

For non-hidden aspects, Nyx is the best. You get an omega move that charges while sprinting, and it’ll deal damage to enemies you hit once charged- but it also gives you the nightspawn condition. While you have nightspawn, your regular attack and special will split into 2: this means that on hit effects, like splash or scorch, will effectively be doubled.

Uncommon Grace will also not be offered at all by Hera unless it can be activated

you need to know which boons/combos scale well

an easy one to explain is taking something like heaven strike with double strike

adding poms to the first adds base power, adding poms to the latter adds double strike chance, and adding poms to both means you get more double strikes of even more powerful blitzes

and Bridal Glow is worthy of note here as the boon literally does nothing once you have it, it does everything when you recieve it, so it's a free sacrifice to King's Ransom

I'm running into Eris, which apparently is the game's way of getting you to slow down so that you don't outpace the storytelling. Should I intentionally die a couple of times before beating Hecate/Sirens/etc. so that the story can keep up?

Hey Im not really sure where to ask this but I've recently finished the Chronos fight 6 times now, im trying to figure out how to progress with the story with only 1 surface win. I have a ??? incantation and im honestly starting to get burnt with the amount of times this game asks you to beat its final bosses, I heard 2 extra needed Chronos fights were added to fix some writing. Does anyone know how many times i need to beat ||Typhon? for this incantation to show up?||

If you want a full explanation with spoilers ||you have to get 5(?) lenses to craft the incant to infuse gigaros with monster slaying, after that you do another surface run to kill typhon and you get entropy which is used to do dissolution of time then the next run is your last for main story||

your in a H2 for new players channel, you cant assume the best mechanics as a baseline here for everyone.
Supay is very easy to use, and is always strong, moros can pop off very early and is also very strong. Eos is very safe and strong for higher fear aswell.
Personal preference plays a big role and comparing it to whatever measure the top players have arent really too relevant.

Supay is not always very strong, it is quite boon dependent and has very low base damage

You can focus either on your specials or your rush, so you have more choices. if you Apollo or aphro you can just take their rush boons or cast, aphro opens up romantic spark which is very strong on supay. Hera hestia zeus poseidon are all great, Demeter/heph are good for support boons, only god thats really bad on supay is Ares but then again he kinda is on almost every build

For newer players, a lot of the low base damage is offset by the fact it autocasts so you can just focus on dodging/not getting hit and still do damage with no effort

Ares is not bad on supay, but I digress, i'm not talking about the overall strength of it, it's a very good aspect, just starts off mid, and newer players don't immediately have access to supay

to be fair I just avoid ares whenever I can, so maybe he's not as bad, i have little experience with him. I only try to get him for heinous affront ever. Maybe also for a good origination prc help
