Been trying for about 3 weeks to complete the surface no hit, the underworld only took me a few days but the surface is killing me.
I was on an ABSOLUTELY incredible run, I had such an insane build with aspect of charon, exceptional talent (which was the 4th boon i got), giga cleaver, ocean swell, geyser spout and so many other support boons to just make me bulldoze everything.
And then I took a hit in the Typhon fight. Just one single hit. I am going to go insane over this.

I’ve seen some people on high fear take it so I figure it must have a purpose, but as far as I can tell from rough napkin math the strength 40% damage reduction is slightly less total HP than 3 40% hp DDs. the DDs each cap max damage taken when you proc them, and also protect you from the Chronos 1hk attacks. Are there compelling reasons to take a single life over the 3 DDs?

My first 40 Fear win! Granted it relied pretty heavily on spamming coat specials and cast and staying out of harm's way, but still, that's not nothing, and I walked into it missing a DD so I'm pretty proud of how much I was able to mitigate damage!

alright yeah so I'm just arriving at the boss too late - got at least one store and arachne, and walked into the hecate fight with 90 seconds left, died not from damage but just because I couldn't clear it in time and was taking 5hp/s time damage

I assume that's a room clear issue, and I had a reasonably good room clear setup - momus plus the hammer that makes your specials bounce, and apollo on the special

its probably one of the worst things to put on special for torches, especially eos

since aphros distance req is off of mel, and theres times where the ball is doing everything and youre just playing safer, hera/hestia/pos are the best in slot, hera cuz hitch kills everything it touches especially with hereditary bane, and pos/hestia are just goated on hit effects
