the heat/fear system goes WAY above anything the game actually rewards you for, because it's a self imposed challenge not something the game thinks you "should" do. I think it's fine for the average player to be able to 100% the game 🤷 speedruns and 50+ fear are niche but kinda their own reward to do well if you care about them.
ig I get the logic of "100% achievements should be hard to achieve" but since so many challenges in the game already have no reward I just don't rly mind ig

You really want something like Smolder Ring early on

It starts out really weak, you just need to find the right things

That +20 attack hammer also helps with early game.

Trick Knives as well.

First solve AoE problem, then Mana, then Defenses.

I think the bounce range is based on the special range, for which Morrigan's is extremely low, so it gets such a tiny bounce range that it never bounces, and you only get a single hit, on a single enemy.

Just finished the main story after 52 hours of gameplay. Hades I and Hades II will remain my top two games till Hades III comes out. Thank you Supergiant games for this wonderful gift. Still a lot more to explore. Need to go see Chronos at the surface and in Tarturus and upgrade every possible lamp and rug in this game.

Not a Victory Screen (yet) but I figured I should post this clip of me dodging Rivals Hecate Triple Sheep during the Bullet Hell attack pattern, since it's IMO one of the hardest attack patterns in the entire game to dodge. I'll be studying what I did for my own future reference, so I figured others might find it useful to attempt to recreate. Wouldn't be possible with Frenzy but still potentially useful.

Another victory, with an undeveloped build. i've found that Hestia attack, TOS special and gain, poseidon cast, and hera sprint, with (at least) Poseidon X TOS, and TOS X Hestia, is theoretically infinite damage, paired with a high level pyro technique can lead to high dps, with no focus on combat. my personal record is 300dps off of the build, though it can scale as high as pyro techniques level

i've had better runs recently, thats just the screenshot i have saved rn, its not as good a setup as the written

If you're talking about the levels staying after the keepsake is gone I know that. It's a strat I use occasionally, since Hera's heroicification boon can be sold, and required on a different boon

i was under the impression that you're playing it for that omega special + whatever cast you have, and that omega attack is just a cherry on top for that one time per a boss encounter when you can actually charge it

full vor full frenzy chronos literally leaves no openings to charge your omega attack

I've always played it with max frenzy, you basically just throw out the omega special, dash in and charge up the omega attack, launch it, and dash away trying to hit more enemies with the active frames

Obv you mix it up, some attacks are unblockable and you'll have to play around bosses carefully but you get massive aoe with massive damage when played right, even on frenzy, because you have the safety of the block

Vor4 chronos is just a very tricky boss regardless, smth that I struggle with on all weapons so don't really have any advice on that just get lots of mana, good regen, and plenty of %damage plus a cast and whatnot for origination

i did exactly that on cerby, but all vor chronos attacks are omnidirectional in phase 3, you can't actually block any of that

so i just used my omega special/cast for origination and my dashstrike because it's safe

Can definitely work, I would recommend apollo on either the attack and special for the most damage, but you can play the weapon multiple different ways and it works fine, I just think it's best with %damage on the attack and special, double apollo goes so crazy

And also use night, you get 3-5k+ damage crits
